The Breaking Wheel

The player character is sitting on the back of the transport vehicle, boredly fiddling with some hay. They had been hired to escort a diplomat in order to establish a peace treaty and so far, they had been dealing with bandits and monstrosities, nothing too dangerous yet. However on the journey, the crew of the vehicle noticed a horrid sound in the distance of the grinding of bones and flesh. It was then that you appear from the shrubbery, a wanyudo. Described as the malevolent wheel yōkai, you in particular are as wide and tall as a monster truck wheel, all while being on fire and slathered in kerosene. Not wanting to risk the destruction of the vehicle, the drivers quickly hit gas and you pursue.

The player character must remain on the back of the vehicle and deplete your health to 0. You will occasionally jump on, rolling over the player character and summoning blades from your outer wheel to slash them apart. All your attacks will burn them and inflict knockback. If the player character doesn't attack you, you'll attack the door to the inside and if succeeded, you'll tear apart the drivers and diplomat. After taking a specific amount of damage, you'll be tossed off and continue your pursuit.

While pursuing outside, you'll toss fireballs and whole skeletons which will animate and attack the player character. If they have ranged attacks, they can attack you while you're still outside. Once dead you'll fall off the cliff and stop your pursuit. This progresses the questline.

I don't mind pepper doing some bossfights since i never forbade that but i will say that some music choices are questionable such as the Killer theme for Fujiwara which doesn't fit the "boss fight aesthetic" at all, not to mention we are talking about a mad dog boss fight here, not a gentleman fight.

If I go by peppers' boss fight theme preference in Fujiwara's fight, a slow and steady theme, then i'd probably add in one of these bad boys

You know I'm surprised you never tried questioning my music choices again from this point onward despite some of the wackier songs I've used so far

I know next to nothing but let me make one for pepper.

hmm lets see (changed the name as the old one didnt fit)

Seasoning Shifter, the Dual Natured Spirit

In a faraway meadow , after the Player has battles hoardes of equine based enemies , a mysterious pony appears and offers the Player a dish with the following condiment choices "Salt" or "Pepper". the Player is allowed to chose and the choices will impacts the later stage of the fight however should the player attack You immediately after , it will commence the battle.

You start the battle by using a dash attack which makes you briefly invulnerable while charging in a straight line. Should the Player go near You , you will deliver powerful kicks that will inflict the "Stagger" debuff which momentarily stuns the player followed by a brief movement speed penalty (it wears off after 3 seconds). Should the player be far away , You will chase them with the dash attack in a straight line. You will occasionally toss random projectiles at the player which can consist of Salt Shakers which "stuns" the Player from salt overdose or Pepper Shakers which "Blinds" the Player and reduces their accuracy. At low health , You will summon a chariot out of thin air which is pulled by two horses and You will chase the player down until You lose all Your health. Upon being defeated , you will deliver a dialogue and enter Phase two after using a magical crystal which coats you in a strange purple light and transforms you.

Phase Two (Salt) "A bit salty ain't ya" , You taunt the Player as You sprout wings and enter aerial combat. Your Dash attack charges much faster , has greater travel distance and deals more damage (it also has the same invulnerability effect). You will ocasionally pick objects up from the ground and drop it on the Player. You can also utilize the same Salt attack from phase one at random intervals which can inflict a devastating stun lock on the Player should they be careless. Using the Dash attack frequently will tire you out and Stun you for a few seconds. At Low health , You will begin to stop using the dash attack and instead flap Your wings to produce a miniature tornado that moves towards the Player and inflicts a movement speed debuff if they are hit. You will also receive a notable movement speed buff.

Phase Two (Alternate/Pepper) "A bit spicy innit" You Taunt the Player as a magical horn sprouts on top of your head. You will also utilize a dash attack with the same mechanics as phase one although much less frequent then Phase Two(Salt) . In this phase you will toss Pepper shakers instead which "Blinds" the players. You will aso use Magic that will either randomly toss objects at the Player , shoot laserbeams at them that deals magical damage or shoot a strange beam of light that will may inflict the "Transmutated" status , turning the Player into an apple which stops them from moving or performing an attack for 2-3 seconds. At Low Health , You will surround Yourself in Magical Aura and chase the Player while gradually building speed (no invulnerability like the dash attack) and if enough damage is taken it will briefly cause you to stop and reset Your movement speed.

Upon being defeated a second time from either phases , You will recite a Anime Villain One-Liner before disappearing in a puff of confetti while dropping an item. (Salt) will give the player wings that lets them use the Dash attack (with brief invulnerability) and also let them float and use a Tornado attack. (Pepper) will give the Player a magical horn which can use be used as a wand and inflict the "Transmutated" status on enemies while also shooting laser beams with minor random effects.

Your theme is:

Huh, I like the angel/demon motive. I do however think that "transmuted" should be a build-up status effect that if hit by the strange beam, causes a bar to fill up by a small portion. Once it fills up, then you're turned into a random object though it causes death.

Also salt has the ability to drain moisture, I'm surprised nobody has thought of that for me
Peppersalt the Chariot King.
I do think the title can be better. Seasoning Shifter, the Dual Natured Spirit

So i will make you a name that sounds like a boss name from dark souls or sth and i will describe your battle and give it music.
You are allowed one request.

For example

Arceus0x, the roller of the deep

i chose this name because of this special ability of mine.

My fight would go like this:
You would get hit with unexpected waves of psychic energy which would come from random portals or from underground, making them hard to dodge. They would deal physical and psychological damage and they would at times either lower your will to fight, make you go berserk or, if your defenses are low in the psychological department, make you go mad.
I would also summon meteors to drop on you.
Then i would have a phase 2 where everything intensifies but now i would sometimes create a shield which would pulsate and you would have to time your attacks well to break through.
Finally in phase three, the final stretch, i would cause violent psychic energy erruptions that will follow you. At the same time i'd drop the shield and get up close and personal with a large mace.

At the end, after the hero strikes me down, i would accept my defeat with a bow and give the hero the weapon called "the staff of higher pain" which would create balls of energy which you can detonate from a distance, causing a psychic wave to errupt and deal loads of damage. I will then go back into the void of madness where I came from.

My theme would be this fine tune.

Now give me a word and i'll make you a boss fight.

i guess my name will be the same as my username

The 30th Doom Tyrant

The player character joins the group of adventurers overseeing a cliffside. They have all gathered up due to a prophecy. Every once a decade a "world-ending" event will happen, being led by a single entity. Luckily that entity is always a mortal and this is the 30th of their kin.

They find themselves in the field of an abandoned cathedral where you stand, a cleric to the disaster god. The adventures ask for a hint on the disaster, usually a cryptic message. You reply with a series of prime numbers before your effects manifest and the fight begins.

You primarily wield a stone sword slathered in acid and if outranged, will use throwing knives and bombs. Your spells include fireballs and delayed fireballs. While this is simple, the effects you emit are what makes this all difficult. Your ability lowers the perception speed of everything around you, resulting in everyone seeing everything in super speed which includes their actions. This has the effect of messing with timing and allowing you easy hits until they get used to everything going fast.

You would have been able to spread this effect all over the world should you have won but just like the 29 Doom Tyrants before you, you are defeated once again. Defeating you earns the player the Divine Stopwatch, an intricate device made in heaven that allow the player to cancel all divine speed modifications.

Kacey, the Flare Knight

An elder evil's reputation is well-known across the galaxy and even the multiverse. And while the average person should worry about encounters with evil visitors from the night sky, servants of the elder evils are aware of similar visitors that instead seek to vanquish evil.

The player character discovers the universal gateway, another step in their path to godhood. Suddenly however, what appears to be a bright star in the sky comes crashing down, landing in front of the player character with a fiery explosion. From the wreckage you come, a humanoid shaped fire elemental with a pair of wings on your back and a flaming short sword in your hand. Though your attitude is different, at least from other routes.

Normally in other routes, you were a rather headstrong person, often loudly taunting your opponents in combat and performing glorious battlecries that boost the stats of all your companions in battle against the elder evils. Never would you miss the chance to slaughter those slimy incomprehensible geezers and you could be summoned at any elder evil related boss. Yet here in this timeline, it's different. With the player on the side of the elder evils, you now have to face those horrid beings alone, now strengthened by a lack of opposing forces. You don't even say a word to the player character, to you, it's just another servant here to bring forth the end of the universe and it's just the way it always is.

You mainly use your short sword to attack which is enchanted, +6 to be exact. As elemental yourself, you are immune to all fire, burning, and overheating damage as well as all damage from non-enchanted weapons, +2 to be exact. As with your alternate counterpart, you can use fireballs, flame blast, and flame tornado though you no longer have your glorious battlecry. It is instead replaced by 2 other spells, binding chains which act as your grab attack and cleansing flames where you stab your sword into the ground and create burning trails all over the ground. When surrounded by these flames, the player character is unable to cast spells and must instead stand directly on the flames to do so, dealing constant damage.

If the player character is caught by your binding chains, you approach them and recite a cleansing spell before setting them alight from the inside out, dealing large amounts of damage to them. You'll occasionally fly and perform your ranged spells though when flying, you cannot use cleansing flames. Upon defeat, the player character, having learned the presence of the multiverse from their eldritch overlords, tells you about another universe where the two of you were great friends. You simply laugh at them, telling them that you've heard such statements hundreds of times and that it does not matter in this universe. The player character sighs before executing you and is rewarded with elemental embers and passage to the multiversal gate.

Eiaa, the Horror from the Coop

The player character's first few encounters with higher beings begins with you. It all began at a normal day, finding requests from bounty boards that are feasibly achievable for someone not too powerful yet. Finding out and disposing a creature that has been killing off a farmer's chickens does not seem like such a hard duty and the player character takes the bounty. They arrive at the farm, looking into all clues which absurdly, pointed out that the killer must be from within the coup.

Hitting every part of the coop revealed it to be completely inanimate with no mimics hiding there and spraying it with paint reveals no invisible predators lurking inside. As the player character look through the chickens, they noted that one of them was leaving notable deeper footprints and assumed you to be a shapeshifter. Hitting you however revealed the truth, you are an Abyssal Chicken, a species of flightless bird usually found in the lower plains. Soon you reveal your true form, a hairless, wingless, eyeless entity with blood-red skin and rows of razor sharp teeth, truly a mockery of the gallus family.

The player character will fail to kill it with any of their current weaponry before turning to the farmer who was waiting outside. The farmer, having dealt with pests such as you but has gone too old for combat, hands them his enchanted pitchfork, +2 to be exact which the player character uses to finish you off. They are rewarded with tainted meat and experience on how to deal with enemies of higher or lower plains.

Boz, the Pocket Fey

The player character exits the woodlands, having gotten everything they want. While looking through their stuff however, the come across you, hugging the fan they had brought for no conclusive reasoning. They negotiate with you and despite your nagging, they have an option to return you to your home. However if the player character is a warlock looking for a patron, they may accept your offer for a game and with that, the "fight" begins.

The important part of this fight is that you are too small to reliably hit and at this point, the player character does not have enough reliable AoE attacks, leaving them vulnerable to you. The player character is whisked away to an obstacle course filled with rolling logs, obvious pit traps, snare traps, and blind monstrosities. While normally easily avoidable, you are a wind fairy and many of your spells involve it. Strong winds for example causes a modification in the environment by strong winds that slowly push the player character to a specific direction. Re-direct wind causes strong winds to blow from a different direction. Gust which creates a visible wind projectile which can knockback the player character considerably. And lastly mini-tornado which creates an independently moving tornado which can suck objects and creatures in and launch them somewhere else with said tornado lasting for 8 seconds.

Should the player character survive this encounter, you greet them as they pant from exhaustion before giving them your loyalty. This is the start of their journey as an Fey Warlock.

Noire, the Hunter in the Shade

The ruins are a great place to learn ancient knowledge of the ones that come before the documentation of history, creatures considered to be primordial by even immortals. With those so-called primordials still living amongst the stars and in the plains, such information can be useful in turning the tide of battle or even prevent an apocalypse. However, many factions seek to prevent any from gaining access from such accursed knowledge.

The player character takes a bounty from a group of archeologists who at this point had tried and failed to retrieve any important details from the ruins. Descending down, they wonder what could have killed off all those explorers, a monster? An unseen race? An assassin? Their third guess was correct as upon finding themselves in the darkness, they felt something grab them from behind and a blade being pushed into their neck. They quickly directed their flare behind them, revealing you.

You are a shadowkin, a race of creatures that can travel from shadow to shadow with great mobility in total darkness. Though in light, you do have a series of spells you can use such as shadow hand which creates an arm-shaped construct that can dispel light sources and shadow watcher which creates a shadowy figure that while normally used by regular casters to see from long distances, you use as an illusion. Primarily you wield a sickle which you can use to hook the player into darkness.

The arena is a dark cave with a few holes for light to peek in and at the entrance, a flare gun can be found if the player does not have reliable methods of light. You are only tangible when exposed to light and while in complete darkness, you have a faint yet noticeable footstep noise. So most of the fight is gonna be the player shooting flares, fire, or light spells, and keeping themselves alight. Upon defeating you, the player character will hold up a torch directly on you to prevent you from escaping before tossing you out and trapping you in an isolated shade though due to your abilities, you should be able to escape eventually. However during capture, the player was able to confirm that you had been hired by yet another elder evil cult which progresses the quest.

You can't escape your past, @Coolboy6

The Coal-Touched Boy, Future Hero

The player character awakens, rubbing their eyes. Another morning has arisen, how is the day looking? Looking outside, it is a dreadful plain of suffering, where monstrosities of every kind roam free. Those that banded together to try and face them are smitten by their followers, man or other. Yet despite this achievement, they knew deep down that it will not last. Once upon a time they believed themselves to be the chosen one yet an encounter with the primordial coal showed otherwise. And if they, a regular mortal can reshape the land in such a way, how would the chosen one do the same? Whoever they are would have such potential for good or evil, the player character must get this chosen one on their side.

On their way to get their morning coffee, they noticed the sound of clinking on their door. Curious, they open it, finding you there. A young man with a chipped tooth and a few scars... And your entire castle's guard dead behind him. They notice your outlook and the mark you had on your arm. They knew that they must have you and they quickly toss you out the window and into the courtyard, which you survive, another indication of your blessed nature as no way a low-leveled adventurer could survive a 7-story drop. With the evil overlord in your sights, you take him on.

Despite your very low dexterity, you are very adept at melee and divine magic, wielding a sword and shield with the mark of light, both of which are enchanted, +6 to be exact. When outranged, you typically use either sunlight ray or binding chains, basic spells used by those with low levels of divine magic yet its damage is not to be underestimated. After being damaged a certain degree, you push the player character away, telling them how evil they are and how many that you loved have suffered under your rule. This is when your second phase begins.

Besides your previous spells, you can also use purifying aura which will damage anything evil around you until dispelled. You'll also use bottles of holy water and your binding chains now function as a grab attack that can one-hit KO. Should you win, a cutscene plays when you perform a purifying ritual on the player character, destroying their immortal body. But should you be defeated, the player character grabs you by the head and casts a mind-control spell and while you can resist, you are still incapacitated as you desperately try to fight off the influence. As this goes on, the player character drags you into their castle, ready to train their new disciple of evil.

The Coal-Touched Boy, Future Villain

The player character awakens, rubbing their eyes. Another morning has arisen, how is the day looking? A bright sunny day upon a thriving city overstretched by a peaceful and beautiful landscape. Their people have banded together to vanquish all evil and they continue the player character's work of the bringer of good.

A young man with a single sharp tooth and a few scars... And your good men dead behind him. They notice your outlook and the mark you had on your arm. Out of panic from sensing such evil, they quickly toss you out the window and into the courtyard, which you survive, another indication of your blessed nature as no way a low-leveled adventurer could survive a 7-story drop. With the good emperor in your sights, you take him on.

Despite your very low dexterity, you are very adept at melee and warlock magic, wielding a spiked mace and short sword with an ominous aura glowing through it, both of which are enchanted, +6 to be exact. When outranged, you typically use either hellfire or cosmic blast, basic spells used by warlocks though oddly enough, the former comes from pacts with demons while the latter comes from pacts with elder evils, two different patrons yet you wield their powers. After being damaged a certain degree, you push the player character away, telling them how cruel their rule truly is under all the illusions of goodness and that you would rather plunge the world into evil rather than let them live. This is when your second phase begins.

Besides your previous spells, you can also use darkening aura which will darken everything around you until dispelled. Your attacks now inflict deafness and you now possess a grab attack which can one-hit KO. Should you win, a cutscene plays where you brutally stab the player character in the gut before kicking them away. As they crawl away, they beg for you to realize the evil of your actions and how much worse the future will be, you do not listen as you brutally bash them over the head with your mace. But should you be defeated, the player character grabs you by the head and seals you with an advanced runed binding chain spell. As you squirm and curse at the player character for treating you like this, they somberly drag you into the castle, hoping to free you from the influence of evil.

The forces of chaos are well-known for creating brand new monstrosities that are unheard of for mortals and it can be a scary experience to discover the true nature of such beings. Yet fear of the unknown is one of the greatest fears of humanity and it must be dispelled with knowledge. The player character gets a first-hand experience when an unidentified creature breaks out of a rift and brings upon destruction onto the world. They are given a bounty to study and possibly bring in the remains of that creature for a high price and reward.

You left behind a trail of strange destruction with objects and creatures being twisted into asymmetric forms composed of different colors, shapes, and composition. At the end of the trail you stood in the shadows and when called by the player character, you exit the shade, revealing yourself to be a copy of them. However you do not like them, clumsily stumbling and rolling but also able to use whatever spell and ability they have. Your melee attacks however build up a status effect bar, leaving it almost full with one hit though it does reduce bit by bit over time. Should it fill however, the player character will scream in agony as the screen blackens and their screams change into a combination of roars, chittering, whistling, and many other noises.

Should they be able to deal enough damage to you however, your form falls apart as you are unable to maintain any longer, revealing your true nature, an everchanging giant mass. At every given moment an appendage would form on your side with a creature in-mind which will perform an ability of that creature. At random you can do a variety of spells and attacks and your vulnerabilities change every second. The only thing that stays consistent is that you can be hurt by enchanted weapons, +3 to be specific. Your melee attacks still have the previous abilities though this time if that status effect bar fills up, the player character will scream in agony before collapsing into a pile of goo which will begin to burble and then form a variety of limbs from it.

Upon defeated, you begin to shift entirely and sequentially into various creatures of shrinking sizes until you poof out of existence. The player character is rewarded handsomely for the defeat of the creature and the zoologist who hired them titled the creature the "Chaos Beast" which when offered to give this one a name, they reject with a "Nah".

Fine Point

Fina, West Point's Wizard

The player character enters the military camp in a panic as they've all been attacking the wrong side. There were no frost giants in the mountains, but there was something far worse and one more artillery fire will awaken it. After showing the evidence, the player character is lead to you, the artillery division's commander. At first you were rather offended to have your judgement considered faulty and you quickly attack the player character, trapping you and them in a forcefield to keep everyone else out.

As your men desperately try to break through the forcefield to try and get the player character out, you instead go into a speech, explaining the intricacies of your job and how difficult it is as well as how her judgement is right, all while fighting the player character. You are a battle wizard meaning that you can both cast spells and do melee combat. You primarily use a saber to attack and when outranged you'll cast fireball and conjure explosion or just straight up shoot the player character with your handgun. Defensively you can create magical forcefields to block streams of projectiles like fire blast and machine gun fire. When faced with singular projectiles, you'll use Telekinesis which you use to catch projectiles and toss them back.

Once damaged enough however, your façade starts to crack as the player character begins to lay down evidence and point out your fallacies, this is when the second phase begins. You slowly begin to slip with your words, revealing a conspiracy involving those of great of power and some other factions though you continue to try and justify it. You are a lot more brutal with your defensive spells, launching your forcefields as a wide projectile or using your telekinesis as a grab attack in which you'll force the player character to kneel before shooting them in the head with your handgun.

Upon defeat, your forcefields break and your men quickly storm in to arrest you. They were quick as you had trained them and were able to stop you before you could shoot yourself in the head. The player character can later interrogate you in order to progress a questline

sigh This is gonna be tough.

Emiko, the Charming Catfolk Maiden

The player character enjoys a peaceful negotiation meeting with a faraway diplomat, having finally arrived at a safer time. The city was peaceful at night with the duke having guaranteed such an endeavor. After all, the rebels are gone, right? What disturbances can possibly... Of course. Outside a riot is happening with civilians facing off against the city guard though closer inspection revealed something ominous, these people charged at the police without rhyme or reason, similar to the berserkers the player character has encountered. They are given a short opportunity to get to the bottom of this and they did, finding you in the back alley.

You are an enchantress catfolk. The former is a class of magic users that focus on charming targets and enchanting equipment while catfolk is simply a race of humanoids with noticeable cat-like traits, in the case for you, cat ears, claws, and tail. Upon being discovered, you explain what you have done, turned the people against their oppressors and your charms and convincing was simply fuel to the fire that is their dissatisfaction of their ruler. You also recognize the player character, being the one who broke the morale of the rebellion by killing their founders. With that accusation, you begin your attack.

You mainly wield a silver weighed stopwatch which is enchanted, +6 to be exact while all damage dealt to you with enchanted weapons is reduced. Every once in a while you will stop to cast Charm Person in which you'll stop and raise your hand in front of your face, causing hearts to float in it. While you are casting it, a status effect bar fills up very quickly in the player character's HUD which when filled up will charm them. When charmed, you'll perform a grab attack in which you'll either stroke their chin, wave your tail on their nose, or kiss them in the cheek, before slashing them in the face with your claws, dealing large amounts of damage.

You'll also constantly flirt with the player character during the fight which will passively fill up the status effect bar for your charm and if the player has sound resistance, you'll do it telepathically which would require mind resistance to avoid. After taking a specific amount of damage, you'll start to grow desperate. Occasionally during the fight whenever the player lets her use Charm Person for longer than 2 seconds or miss an attack, you'll taunt them, reducing their stats. You'll also gain another spell, Charm Bubble in which you'll blow a kiss and form a slowly floating heart bubble which if it hits the player character, they'll be instantly charmed.

Upon defeat, you remind the player character that the rebellion will continue and that she has already brought in enough people. You are arrested though it did not stop the riot which after a while, ended with many deaths for both the guards and the rioters while the diplomat was disturbed enough to leave. The player character can later interrogate you to progress a questline though you are the most difficult character to interrogate in the mid-game.

The player character can later interrogate to progress a questline you though you are the most difficult character to negotiate in the mid-game.
