Hakiman>Swordman
Shanks is a Hakiswordsman, can't even use hao without griping his sword

Nahhh the Uno reverse card is craazzzyyyy. Oda potentially making bounty hunters relevant again is quite unexpected imo.
FINALLY. I've been wondering where tf those were, but I always reasoned it was the fact that no sane bounty hunter would go after OP top tiers and just settle for easier bounties

Not always though. Especially not in his early showings of Hao (like on Whitebeard's ship)
that was weak doodoo hao that only knocked out fodder, this was super hao that paralyzed an admiral. Some would say this was Gryphon's haki

I think it is very cool how the remaining 2 Yonko (from the post timeskip situation) each represent a different aspect of One Piece's power system

I'mma say it- this might be with a bit of cope too.
Mihawk's "stronger than Shanks" statements feel outdated. He rivaled a two armed Shanks then stopped fighting him after Shanks lost his "dominant" arm. He's a swordsman, and fighting another swordsman who can't even use his main arm would be shameful whether he wins or loses.
Also that Shanks is from like 12+ years ago.
Until Mihawk measures up to the now Shanks or the canon reconfirms a CURRENT standing rather than "back then tho" bs, I'm never folding about him being equal or stronger than CURRENT Shanks. is throwing ADVANCED CONQUEROR'S with just his will, without drawing anything to infuse it, across damn near continental ranges, and somehow terrifying an admiral with just that.

This "losing his arm made him weaker" logic is doodoo. Kid lost his arm and went from being decimated by Shanks to taking several hits from Big Mom and even throwing her around. Shanks losing his arm might have made him focus less on his swordplay and more on his haki game, because clearly his Haki mastery surpasses every other we've seen.
Mihawk's a better/greater swordsman. Shanks is stronger overall imo

Shanks > Mihawk. It's clear at this point.
Wdym, don't be disrespectfull.
Mihawk come to Shanks safehouse but didn't feel threatened at all and mocking him. Also people like Shirohige acknowledge their battle as a Legendary Battle, Hancock calls him a vicious man, Akainu even respects him. We can't even compare him with Current Zoro, He naratively is no match to Zoro, at this point.
In swordmanship I'll put Mihawk > Shanks and Have equal power level.

If we're arguing that Shanks got a lot stronger in the space of losing his arm (at the very least, I'd definitely say his Conqueror's Haki definitely did), the same would easily apply to Mihawk.

They're almost the same age and do nothing but fight.

Imo, they're at least somewhat relative at all times.

It is a cope, all the statements that put Mihawk above Shanks are in reference to current Shanks. You're right about Shanks not losing any strength by losing his arm tho (it was stated so in a databook), but even so Mihawk doesn't view him worthy and wants someone stronger than him. This idea that Mihawk's only focus is on swordsmanship as a random concept is also just blatantly contradicted by Zoro the guy trying to surpass Mihawk learning stronger and advanced versions of Haki to achieve his dream.

It is a cope
I know

Well, he is the "greatest SWORDSMAN", if he was the strongest in every category he'd just be the new strongest man since WB is dead, no?
If Mihawk stays stronger than Shanks I'm happy either way, because then I get to spread the Zoro>Shanks agenda like queen's Ice Oni virus

Nah he's the "Strongest Swordman", Whitebeard's title despite what you'd assume it means refers to Whitebeard's pirating life overall according to the Ace novels (interpret that as you will) so unless Mihawk can live up to the "life" Whitebeard lived then nah he wouldn't get that.

Also, I just realized the last Lode Poneglyph might be with Blackbeard after all.
Shanks is gone- Greenbull is gone.
So unless Shanks tells Barto to tell Luffy to go to Eblaf (for all the viking ties) then Marco's the only one left there who might know where the last poneglyph is, since it's WB's iirc?
It'd make sense if BB just took it

Jinbe too, I'd say. He's seen with the monster trio now, and is a former warlord, one of the few guys who can tango with a yonko TWICE and not get devastated-
we honestly give Jinbe far less credit that he's worth. And I also realized this'd mean Luffy has a new set of "4 emperors" in his crew too, so it'd be cool.
Lackluster Onigashima fight is biasing people against him. Pre TS Jinbe stopped an attack from Akainu, same as Marco ... He really should have fought one of Kaido's Calamities

-Be born in a place literally named after alcohol
-Become a hardcore alcoholic, go around recruiting orphans and lab rats for your dog shit crew
-Try to bully random Samurai, they escape and you go on a tantrum, burning down their castle and killing the ruler's wife.
-The ruler pulls up, bends you over, and goes to town on you, rawdogging you until you're unconscious.
-You have to use a distraction to try and win the fight before you get killed
-Kill the leader while he's distracted, then take over their land.
-Give birth to a beautiful and strong daughter
-She instantly despises you, wants to be the same samurai that spanked your ass a few years ago.
-Beat her because she reminds you of the extreme PTSD you got from almost losing a fair fight, and having to resort to cheating in said fight.
-She befriends a guy ( probably ****** him ) and after that guy dies she goes to his brother who raided the land without you even knowing or being able to do anything, and they demolish you.
-Your crew falls off because you suck at everything and are quite literally allergic to fair fights, drown in magma while Big Mom, the person seen as clumsy and stupid by a good portion of the community, lives despite falling unconscious in the very same magma ( her homie Zeus was shown in this chapter, thus she has to be alive ).

The last Road Ponegliph is the same Road Ponegliph in Fishman right? Before BM take Fishman Island under his colony, WB was there first. That makes sense in my opinion.

( her homie Zeus was shown in this chapter, thus she has to be alive ).
Not a good justification tbh. Zeus is seperate from her now, and not all DF abilities turn off while the user's dead/unconscious.
Both the yonko are alive I'm pretty sure. We might even see Kaido witness Pluton

I worry that he'd mid diff Jack too, though. And the other calamities would give him a hard time but they already had opponents

It was shown that homies disappear if their user dies.

I doubt this is the case. The homies she creates are independent living creatures. Unless she recalls the soul fragments, I think they can keep living after she dies. After all Prometheus was created by the former holder of the fruit who is dead now

Not talking about Prometheus even if that's true or not. I mean that Zeus appeared in the chapter and Mother Carmel's homie disappeared after her death.

Mother Carmel's homie disappeared after her death.
Her homie was summoned exactly ONCE. Otherwise it was unseen before and after. I don't think it's constantly there as a living seperate entity with free will like Big Mom's are, since it only shows on command

After she was put in seastone cuffs her homies were active. Negging her "ability" doesn't unmake her already existing homies.
That's not completely negging it. Luffy can't punch Prometheus with haki either, as they're simply intangible beings fueled by part of Big Mom's own soul, ofc they can't be negged by any thing that's not soul manip or their elemental weakness i.e water for Prometheus. Plus Luffy was able to get stretched by someone else when completely submerged in water and nearly drowning.
