Melzargard getting turned into a flesh tornado with no side effects or sign of pain vs Boros being heavily damaged but having most of his body still intact with apparently permanent side effect, such as the bloodshot eye.
Their regen is just too different.

His eye is, quite literally, without a doubt, still connected to his body. It’s just offscreen. You literally make stuff up for Boros’ sake. You can make out his teeth, chin and general head shape and hair. His head is intact. He isn’t “just an eye”. Most of his body is still there.

Doesn't matter that he's an ego centric character if his statments hold value. Isn't he the dominator of the universe? He's beaten everyone in the universe and he's being realistic about it. And of course he thought he was going to beat Saitama, because he knew he had moves in his sleeve that far surpassed his normal capabilities (fire blasts, Meteoric Burst and CSRC).
Does it matter? If the energy supply which with he's fighting allows him to regenerate better than Melzalgard, that's all he needs.

How do you know it doesn't require concentration? Never stated, especially when Melzalgard is conscious about what's happening during the while fight.

Before arriving at the Earth, obviously, which is just a planet in the whole universe, he had beaten everyone. What's so ego centric with calling himself the dominator of it when he's cleared 99'99999% of the enemies. Seems like a pretty logic statement.

Guys, since Boros’ word is apparently complete law and infallible, like every other being in the series clearly, he should have MOON LEVEL AP in Released form since he stated he could wound Saitama.

That's easy. Boros isn't lying because he honestly believes he has damaged Saitama after blasting him with one of his trump cards. I don't see how he's being dishonest, especially since he is motivated about being winning the fight (something that wouldn't be possible if he knew that wasn't the case) and he is at a far distance from Saitama, meaning he can't really see the damage/ believes the bruises that Saitama has (which are probably dust or something) are actually wounds.

Where is it said you need concentration? Because we saw Melza turn around a bunch of little pieces and regenerate, without even the brain being unharmed. Don't assume things

And they’re more like stress lines, to show how intense the action is. It doesn’t need to show high speed movement, since y’know, Boros regenerates and he’s not even a step away from Saitama.

Because Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon drained all his energy. It doesn't show the limit of how much damage Boros can take before his regeneration doesn't work. It shows no energy = no regeneration
