So the Orochi calc has been accepted and majority agrees to it, can changes be applied? I can do that myself

I'm just waiting to the point that this becomes so heated we decide to say **** the feat and this becomes a staff only topic and then proceeds to be the next moon level Roshi Fiasco and then Seth gets paid to read this thread and then we have multiple threads about this until it's been 5 years till this gets accepted

Nobody actually gives a **** if a staff-only thread is staff-only lol. Regular users comment all the time, ironically.

Transferring thermal energy on that magnitude can cause physical movement of Earth's core? or is that ball considered thermal energy?

The new rating falls under the assumption that the sphere has no mass. If it did have mass we would just keep it as is. It's one way or the other, we can't mix them unless we decalre the Low 5-B rating an outlier and note it on the profiles to not use it.

That had mass and this is evident, it makes no sense to argue that it was just thermal energy, because it doesn't even make sense, but the current calculation is more consistent, so let's go with it.

Okay..first of all..I have a basic question...why cant massless energy actually interact with the ground causing earthquake? When maseless energy like photons can vibrate?

I am also seeing the comments of "energy is maseless!" and thats not entirely true. Not all energy lacks mass. Some form of energy lack mass like light energy while other form of energy does have mass however for example electrical energy which does have mass ie mass of electron but its very low.

So for the record, I agree with the CRT and I was waiting for someone to do that, the fact that calculation assumed Orochi pulled 2 quintillions of tons is something I dont understand why they did that..like Orochi himself says he is digging up energy from the Earth in order to beat Saitama, not mass, Orochi has no use for the mass.

We only see energy being pulled up from the ground not any sort of mass

There is Electric catfish statement of epicenter moving upward but I dont see how that proves that mass is being pulled, he just thought that since Earthquake happened, it must be due to collision of some plates or by some force which is moving upward, he doesn't know whats happening down there so he wouldn't know whats being pulled

Also the energy is not treated like your usual thermal energy, energy when it reaches Orochi is "absorbed" and then launched as an attack which is no longer thermal energy(there was no hint of external mass in the attack either) so its behaving like how energy used for powers in other series works like so either way, you can argue and say that energy does have mass, if not it can interact with physical objects the same way as energy used for power like ki,chakra, nen etc does in other series

So the old calculation is definitely bunk and cannot be used, its reach to say that he sucked 2 quintillion tons of mass, when there is 0 evidence for that.

As for ratings, I propose that Orochi is scaled to Earthquake as his tail does that intially, but have High 6-A with gaia canon or when its absorbed, its made very clear that he doesn't scale to it regularly otherwise he wouldn't have to go all the way to absorb energy from the Earth if he was High 6-A, this is made even more evident by the fact that gaia gun required Saitama to use serious series move to block it while Saitama just uses normal punch to one shot Orochi, makes no sense for Orochi to only have weak durability.

As for Boros, he obviously scales since Saitama acknowledged Boros as actual strong opponent, unlike with Orochi who was treated like a joke in the entire fight

Where did you read that? can you give me a link?

So: "High 6-B, High 6-A with Gaia Cannon" is what you're proposing?

I think you can, but IIRC, the site does not allow for certain links (Like read comics online for example)
