Should Megumin be Upgraded to Small City Level (Low 7-B)?

I mean, the Japanese is the official language, searching in chinese version is like, an adapted version, if the main problem is how the feat is portrayed in translations, the official raws is the most safe answer

And I don't know if this qualifies for anything But Kazuma's Lurk skill can also hide Bloodlust (Killing intent).

"I used Lurk to conceal my killing intent and aimed with Snipe."

And I know some characters have abilities like Danger sense on the wiki which is mainly activated by sensing Bloodlust (Killing intent) so he should have a resistance to it.

Resistance to Extrasensory perception with Lurk Skill (Can hide Killing Intent/Bloodlust)

For both of them.
 
So can I add?

1.Dagger to Yunyun standard equipment.

2.Resistance to Extrasensory perception with Lurk skill to both Kazuma and Chris's page.

And then add At Least Higher (Has been levelling up thus getting stronger but to an unknown extent)

To Megumins page.

Also, Megumin should have Manatite added to her page as it allows her to cast it more than once.

And I'm being dead serious when I say I did.

But I read the entirety of Volume 17 once more just figure out how many times she can cast Explosion with manatite.

And the grand total is
49 times
 
Nah like you either do "Low 7-C, likely higher" or "At least Low 7-C". For Megumin, the former seems better.

Yeah Manatite should be added, you're a madman for counting everything.
 
So Megumin can cast 49 Explosions with her Manatite.

Though the downside is that it gives her nosebleeds and makes her dizzy.

Though we could possibly upgrade Megumin due to this as Kazuma implies she's superior to the Manatite.

It's mainly because it hit me that the amount of Manatite brought was unspecified so I decided we could figure it out by how many times she cast Explosion.

So that means Megumin would have 49 Manatite added to her standard/optional equipment.
 
So I guess I'll add the stuff to the pages.


Also, what do you think about the Megumin being above her manatite?

Yeah actually just re-checked and it's been surpassed.

Though it still comfortably sits in the Top 10 of best selling Light Novels.

But that doesn't change the point I'm making in that it's Kadowkawa's Gold Mine basically what Dragon Ball is to Toei.

This would mean we just have to do

The amount of energy required to destroy a small town (1 Kiloton) X 49

Then we can make a separate EOS Key for her.

It would have used more than one manatite at a time if her own reserves are higher than that, that's part of why that's not really usable for scaling.

Also, can Kazuma have his "Likely" removed from his Resistance to Mind Control?

As far as I'm concerned it's a pretty clear and shut case that he straight up resisted and could do whatever he wanted.

Even Serena was surprised and annoyed and actively questioned him. And it can't be an outlier since it was plot-relevant.
 
Should Dust also have resistance to Mind Control since Serena couldn't Mind control him.

But granted that could be seen as more of a loophole in her ability.


And should the entire verse also have resistance to Mind Control scaling from Kazuma?
 
guys what do you think about the treatment of anime feats in Konosuba?

you see i am pretty sure that people use manga for reference but the characters in manga are different, for example megumin is older there.

wouldn't it make more sense to use the events of the anime rather than the manga to do calcs as it is based more on the novels?

I wish we could use anime feats or at least the ones that are canon to the LN (Megumins Final Explosion for example).

But it deviates Wayyyy too Much from the LN. So while I'm not fond of it, it's 100℅ reasonable to not want to use the anime for scaling if anything maybe making Anime profiles would be better.

Again wouldn't mind using the Anime but we just can't sadly.

And the Manga is far more loyal to the LN surprisingly. So Loyal in fact that I wish it was valid for scaling purposes tbh.
 
Also Looking at Kazuma's again I see that the number of normal arrows and silver arrows he has is unknown.

So I was wondering if we should just give him 49-100 arrows for each scaling from the Manatite.

Well, yes and no.

Kazuma was still under the control, as shown when it is undone (with him losing faith in the goddess instantly and all). It's just that even when mind controlled, he's a pain.

I guess limited resistance would be better than likely. Or maybe Unconventional Resistance would work too

Definitely not. That's not something that gets scaled and all in this case.

The anime is a big no for the reasons above.

I dislike the use of the manga in itself, but it is the adaptation that sticks to the LNs the closest so far; so it's either this or just the LN.
