Most Wanked character, in your opinion.V2

I usually dislike this kind of discussion as, usually, the concept of wanking is way too often thrown around.

I won't go on about this as this is a F&G thread and it is a irrelevant thing anyways, but wanking is a term that is applied broadly to anyone that overhypes a character's capabilities. The extremes are easy to pick, easy to recognize by anyone (even someone that refuses to use the term) and easy to make fun of. But wanking isn't a term applied only to people that genuinely believe that Saitama can obliterate all Universes in fiction with a punch, or someone that say that Super Sonic's invincibility means that nothing in fiction can wound him. No, wanking is a term that is also commonly applied to people that have good reasons, although you may disagree on why, perhaps disagree severely, to believe why the characters are there.

Way too often I've seen people said to be wanking because their characters and standards were not the same as this wiki, differing by a wide margin. Said people were openly mocked for that, as being wankers/downplayers. Some years later, with the same mocking background still happening, a revision happens and brings said universe close to what the other people thought about, or maybe even higher/lower, and now the people who had before agreed with the people who pointed wanking were the wankers. Did the revision come from new information, some new scans? No, just a new analysis of old ones. I've seen that happen countless times.

Rather than characters, what usually results in wanking are discrepancies on the basis of the system, on the basic rules of it, sometimes in calc rules, sometimes by the rules by which they regard dimensional stuff. I've seen profiles for vastly lower-tiered, say, Umineko characters with prolonged explanations that didn't lose in detail to those of our wiki, simply because they didn't consider dimensional stuff as valid for a new rating.

Are there characters that are objectively wanked? Hell yeah, almost any cartoon character, characters whose gimmick is to be overpowered, any characters with a "god" specificiation, and, to a lesser degree, any characters that have become extremely popular and do flashy feats. At a certain point in time, I've seen Yujiro being wanked by several sites and pieces of media as being stronger than characters such as Beerus and considered comparable to Saitama, because his concept was of him being that much of a badass and he was on a surge of popularity back then.

What is considered wanking come and go so much that I do not even have a firm opinion on what characters are or not. I mean, I have severe disagreements with several characters and verses on how they are treated here or in other places, and even some things that are very basic and instrinsic to the system I disagree with. Still I wouldn't say they are wanked. At worst, that the information is badly contextualized, but that's it.

Maybe wanking all in all is a term that doesn't make much sense or is too broad to being noteworthy, but that's just my two cents.

Sorry if I sounded rude or scolding, not my intention at all. I just thought a bit too much about this.

on an unrelated note, i want an edit with tier 0s.
Maria Ushiromiya is sitting at a table and says "thank you everyone for coming to my tea party" and then the next part is the other side of the table with multiple higher-dimensional horrors sitting at it holding tea cups.

Are there any tier 0s that aren't just incomprehensible mind-***** besides Maria?

i mean twin peaks characters look somewhat human...though the mind-f part still stays
the writer usually looks human

Why i mention in the past was because apperently Geass has something with cosmic/multiversal mindhax and its actually legit

It was brought up in VSBW years ago but it got abandoned i believe

I mean yeah, like all things, wanking can be either objective or subjective. It's not that the definition of wanking changes, but that the interpretation of feats can become incredibly nebulous.
I.e. Dragon Ball's speed is contested, what is accepted here can be considered wank in other sites. But Tier 0 Saitama is objectively wank.
