It's definitely a comedic scene but the nature of seems to be to showcase that Carrot is indeed a powerful fighter as it occured after Luffy asked "Can you fend for yourself in a fight" with her immediately showing the feat against Luffy for different reasons, and the scene is finished with Luffy calling her tough and chopper saying he nearly lost with Pedro confirming that she is a strong fighter.

Personally I think it's fine and isn't like other gags like Nami hurting Luffy.

Are we scaling Black Knight Ito Ito to base Luffy, and can Kyros scale above the Black Knight?

The fact that characters like Abdul, Jeet and Kyros were destroying the Black Knight when it took Luffy going Gear 2 to be able to destroy it.

Also that wasn't base Luffy like the profile said. It was Gear 2nd Luffy, noted by the smoke around Luffy's fist

That one he's throwing at the Black Knight doesn't look like that to me.

Does anyone know if there's any other way of confirming it, like a color change to his arm in the anime or a Gear 2 sound effect?

The color change was only pre timeskip and anime.

The smoke is a direct confirmation. MonkeyOfLife's scan showed the difference beautifully.

Ahh... So Zou and up we can use out of picture/background fights and stuff from the manga and use the anime correct? 😅
 
So what I think should be currently done is that, all values for every character in the sandbox should be updated, so damage, and others can see who will be what, before we end up applying anything.
 
I disagree scaling carrot to base luffy.

Is there no where else for her to reliably scale too? That scene is obviously comedic and should not be taken as reliable scaling.

Carrot could be = or > than base Luffy but using a clear gag scene where luffy didn’t take any damage and only got his head knocked back isn’t good scaling imo.

Also Katakuri should have "Higher with edged mochi" after his base statistics but before his awakening statistics since he was able to harm snakeman Luffy'a fists when they clashed.

Yeah. Basically from what we talked about in discord and what is based off that is currently.

G4 Boundman > G3 > G4 Snakeman
