I don't get why people are bothered by the ratings when ONE says he doesn't care much about powerscaling his own series. Like I don't get the whole "narratively Boros has to be superior" when Boros has literally served his purpose and his strength compared to others doesn't affect his character at all, he's the dominator of the universe vs a monster human fusion that was blessed by God. If you guys really want to know what ONE's feelings are then check this out.
ONE doesn't care about power scaling in his own series -> this is a false. He tried for nearly two days to address the power imbalance problem.
  • Murata said he will send the sketches to ONE, awaiting approval and lines. He later updates on stream and said ONE is happy with the changes. ONE particularly likes the molting/evolving idea, said he had been trying to come up with a way to address the power imbalance for almost 2 days.

I'm pretty sure he's just trolling, did you click on the link in his post?

Of course he was trolling, ONE has never stated that he doesn't care about power scaling in his series afaik.

Why all these disputes, if Boros is the level of a star with a beam and the level of a dwarf star in durability and AP, because his beam could only destroy his arms and legs, but could not destroy his head and torso?

He's not the level of a star tho.

Also, you know glass cannons do exist right? Also, his arms and legs being destroyed was because of the serious punch, not the CSRC. I have no idea why people think CSRC kills Boros when that has not been confirmed, we only know he'll run out of energy

On that note, Boros seemingly planned on surviving the CSRC after shooting it at Saitama.

Boros seems to be about 10 metres away, and his cross-sectional surface area is about 1.74 m^2 if we assume he's just an upscaled human. At this range, his durability would be Large Country level (253.389992 teratons) if we used the 183 petaton end (the energy increases linearly if we use other ends). This is Boros without amping himself with energy.

What's the indication he planned on surviving?

Also, assuming this no energy form is weaker than his base form, would his base scale to 6-B?

If he was going to die, the series would have given us some form of indication. All he does is refer to it as a finishing move that'll blow Saitama and the planet's surface away.

As for the base part, I have no idea.

It does kind of assume he'd be caught in his own attack, though. I think there's enough implication to consider it a possibility, but not a fact. Plus, base/meteoric burst Boros should definitely be above the meteor.

I'm kinda neutral on this honestly. Like it' fair to think Boros in general > Meteor as Boros is listed as Dragon or above, whereas the meteor isn't, but there was also the point of the meteor being a different kind of threat? Like one was an immediate thing and the other was a walking threat so they can't be scaled.

Also does anyone know which is the latest Suiryu calc? I can't seem to find it.

As well as does anyone have a summary of things to update that don't include major upgrades or downgrades?

Apparently, without italic type, no one understands that this is sarcasm.

I just did a quick eyeball calculation where I was trying to find Boros' durab in a scene when he survived a serious pucnh being 15 meters from epicenter. I got a rough result of 10 petatons.

Is this a calc stack? After all, he sustained the shockwave in the same scene where the power of Saitama's shockwave is shown. I used the energy of the Serious Punch from the current calculation for 2+exatons. The area of the shock wave at the moment when it reached Boros, I found using the formula for the area of a two-dimensional circle (Saitama's shock wave just went forward, it was not spherical. When it reached Boros, its radius was visually somewhere like 7 heights of Boros. That is, the area (2.4 × 7) ^ 2 × π = 886.683110549 square meters). I took the area of Boros' body as 3.63 square meters.

I know that Boros has suffered a lot from Serious Punch. But the final result can be divided to find its usual durab.

I dunno about the math itself, but even if math is good, I still have listed my doubts about scaling Boros to the serious punch

Was it Ouros maybe? I dunno. We likely won't hear from him in a while as he stated something about inconsistent internet connection. But till then, downgrade hammer it is

I want to make a calculation. How much of the energy Boros received from Saitama's blow.

And I would like to discuss it in advance. I find it better to use a still from an anime than from a manga. Because in the anime we see at what point the shockwave reached Boros, and so I can find the area of the shockwave. And in the manga, it expands in a strange way, and because of the heap of white lines, we cannot see how much area the shock wave has. Do you agree?

for anyone who participated on this thead, a one piece supporter came and so far I'm the only one arguing against him, it would be nice for anyone who previously voted for Fubuki to also see both of our points just to revise your votes and also back me up since we're arguing in circles.
