Two OP corrupters... Dark Samus vs Void Entity!

oBtbj.jpg

this is basically the two PASSIVE corruptions hitting eachother, except one has more hax behind it.

all right for actual seriousness, as for Entitys actual corruption statement that isnt the quote on the page

"I am not able to peer into the realm of the void myself, but it is my understanding that the dimension is little more than a barren expanse of Pure Evil.
When Skuld distributes the spirits of the dead, the Void Entity claims the most powerful souls and pulls them into the void.
It is an unfortunate reality that many of the heroes that came before you, including your own ancestors, have likely become his pawns after falling in battle."

basically countless, or as i like to high-ball, 3-A.

All right since I know jack about Dark Samus ill just make observations
First of all DS absolutely murders in every stat, this is Entitys corruption vs Samus's passives so stats don't really matter unless they both resist. Which entity doesn't
This is really a case of can DS resist Entity's corruption, which i will go over now.

Now dimensions in Realm of the Mad God are wierd, we have Sprite World which is "found among the stars" and "watching from the cosmos"(essentially) The Third dimension a quote "plane of reality above our own" which probably would serve to downgrade Rotmg to 11-A if there weren't such blatantly 3-D quotes and the fact that realmers can go in and beat the hell out of everything in there. And The Void which has its quote posted above.
Entity has the void entirely under his control and thus has his corruption in second key scale directly to it, which we can go off of the two other dimensions for scaling of Entity's corruption. Which is two options: 3-A(reasonable, scaling to the third dimension) and 4-C to High 4-C(Scaling to Sprite World, taking the quote literally) if i recall DS's corruption is 5-B/5-A or 3-A, one would be laughed off and the other would be at or over Entity's tolorance(he basically blasts himself 24/7 with his own corruption) and if your wondering why the realmers didn't get corrupted instantly its because when they live they resist that corruption, when they die its a different story. DS's mind manipulation just serves to further incon, data, plamt and, technology manipulation are utterly useless, and Life and soul manipulation depends on what they do exactly.

DS's corruption ability varies on the tab:
Planetary as Metroid Prime (Is heavily implied to be the Guardian of the Leviathan (Which connects them together) and is the cause of the 'Great Poison' continuing to expand across Tallon IV despite the Leviathan's death).
Unknown as Dark Samus (Second Key)
At least Interstellar as Dark Samus (Third Key) (Would have corrupted the entire Federation Star System had Samus not repelled several invasions, became one with Phaaze which has an uncountable amount of Leviathans across the universe), possibly Universal (Guidebook states the end goal was to corrupt the entire universe).

Life & Soul Manipulation basically do the same as the other forms of corruption, although the soul part is less controlling and more just driving into insanity.

well, this looks like quite the incon if Samus doesnt resist Entitys corruption enough, or she does and she stomps, or they just cancel eachother out and Samus still stomps due to mindscrew.

I mean, it seems Void Entity doesn't resist some of Phazon's other effects, such as the soul manip for example. So even if the Corruption / Mind Manip cancel out, D Samus' probably has other ways of victory.

i mean, corrupting the soul of Entity is basically pure corruption, which is basically what you said soul manip does, is just corrupting entity, now if Entity wasnt mind screwed a countless soul rip would really screw over DS, also Entity's resistances otherwise wouldnt cover for planetary mindscrew and such anyway, since the best would-be feats of mind screw are just corruption. this is really the choice between incon and stomp, since most other things are corruption for phazons and Entity's whole shtick is corruption.

anyways i saw Entity being one of those characters that stomps, gets stomped, or incon a mile away so im not suprised

If V Entity's soul is corrupting it already, wouldn't that just mean corrupting the soul would be a sure way to control the Entity? Even if we ignore the corruptive properties of D Samus and assume their passive hax cancels out, she has a lot more going for her.

Not what I meant, I mean Entity is basically a spirit of corruption, and I would have put that as one of Entity's weaknesses if that was so. I do agree that Samus has more going for her if the corruption cancels out.
