Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

Maki’s calc needs to be redone as well. Assuming all goes well it should be hypersonic+. Other characters like Nobara (who iirc doesn’t have any feats to scale to) can even scaled using the grade rankings so in her case supersonic should be fine.
 
Aren't fourth grade curses meant to be so pathetic that theoretically even a normal human would just need to be on peak human condition and have a basic melee weapon to fight them? So, human-level speed and 9-C AP and Durability.

Even if we assume that the human who needs to have a basic melee weapon to defeat them is Yuji before he learned any curse energy, they'd still be mere Faster-Than-Eye 9-Bs.

Yeah that’s why they’d be lower subsonic would honestly generous. I think the grades would be like:
Shamans
Special Grade: Hypersonic+-High Hypersonic
Grade 1: Hypersonic+
Grade 2: Supersonic (maybe supersonic+ you’re cutting it close against a grade 2 curse with a shotgun and a grade 2 sorcerer should consistently win against the curse)
Grade 3: Supersonic
Grade 4: athletic human

Curses
Special Grade: Hypersonic+
Grade 1: Hypersonic (they should downscale from someone like Nanami
Grade 2: supersonic
Grade 3: subsonic+-supersonic
Grade 4: human level
 
Honestly, I think that after Grade 3, the whole "real weapons" thingie is just Blatant Lies. I'd therefore give Subsonic, maybe Subsonic+ to Grade 3 indeed, since that's still not enough to dodge bullets and they can be defeated with firearms although it would be difficult to do even for a fully equipped and very well-trained supersoldier. Basically, 9-B and faster-than-eye, which is STILL humanly defeatable (for normal humans), but it sure as hell is cutting it close.

After that, you can just go batshit. No human is gonna defeat a Grade 2 curse on their own. In reality, it would be just fair to give Grade 2 the actual rating of "you need some heavy carpet-bombing to kill them" instead of leaving that to first grades or special grades. Quasi-Grade 2 should be like "You can beat them with a good armored vehicle like a fighter jet, but that would be cutting it close, better to bring a tank to draw their attention, have the jet pummel and finish off by dropping a missile".

Grade 2 would require pretty much a small modern army to fight. Quasi-Grade 1 probably requires one of the world's superpowers such as US, China, Russia or a similarly well-armed nation to take on, and it would wreck that nation's economy for years and years to come after that fight.

Grade 1... I don't think that anything but "all of normal humanity put together and working towards the goal of killing this one monstrosity" can take those on. And Special Grade? "If it weren't for Jujutsu Sorcerers, we'd already be extinct" is the right way to talk about them.

That's if you're being realistic, of course.
 
The only way Special Grade would be MH+ would be if it could react within the timeframe needed for Black Flash to be executed.
 
The kamo one? I'm not too good at understanding calcs but if I gets accepted then yea most characters should have Mhs from the good will and on.
