Heyaaaaa! Sorry to bother you again but since you worked on Anos stuff, MTL and such, I thought you would be a good candidate to answer my inquiry.

If a verse has a OTL that is absolutely dogshit, with problems arising such as adding sentences that didn't exist, changing sentence structures, ... Can I make a CRT to implement a rule for said verse to always get the translation/raw double-checked before anything gets implemented?

If the verse actually has translations that are not in accordance with the raw, either removing information or extrapolating content by completely changing its meaning, then it should always be necessary to check in case you are not sure.

Although everything would be easier if there was a different alternative to OTL, perhaps an FTL?

Just so we're clear, it's 50/50. Sometimes the OTL is perfect, with good grasp of the context and such, but sometimes they translate a word by something completely unrelated, making the sentence completely different from the raw.

There are no FTL as far as I'm aware since the verse is officially translated. (and some FTL that existed before are sometimes just as shit)

So yeah, I don't mind double-checking myself (since it's what I do for the most important stuff) but it was more about "future endeavors" you know. Hence, why I thought making a rule would somewhat solve the problem

So this would be a more complex case to propose a rule, since if you say it is a 50/50 then it would make it redundant to want to verify each thing when upgrading. So if you really want to prove your point and create a thread, I suggest you get the information that is wrong from OTL, translate it with accurate translations (if possible from our translators) and present the respective differences.
