you knew this boy was going to fight a jojo with that high 8-C rank (was originally gap vs deku but it was pretty south upon realization)

Pre-DIO's World VS Full Cowl, speed is equalized, and Standard Battle Assumptions are implied. They start 4 - 5 meters away from each other. Izuku can see and hurt Stands. Nothing else needs to be said.

Jotaro Kujo: 8 (Newendiego, J-ManRequiem, Tkal378, KarmodF, TheNeolancer, ZeedMillenniummon89, ZackMoon1234, Razerboy36)

Izuku Midoriya: 0

Jotaro Kujo EoH
Izuku Midoriya 2nd Costume Full

Pretty even honestly, Deku has range, Star Platinum can phase and destroy organs and such though.

What's the starting range?

Starting distance: The characters start as far away from each other as the highest range of the fighters is, but a maximum of 4 kilometers. If extreme advantages are generated via this distance to one side, a balanced alternative should be discussed in the thread.

Range: 2 to 3 meters with Star Platinum. Up to 20 meters with marble shots, and up to 70 meters with rifle shots. Time Stop is universal

Range: Human melee range, several meters with shock waves.

Pre-DIO's World means no marble/rifle shots nor Time Stop.

For a starting range, I'd probably go for 4 or 5. Not enough to instantly start things from happening but not far enough for any advantages.

If the starting range is a few meters than probably Jotaro, if it was further I could see Deku winning but at that distance?

Star Platinum could easily phase and stop his heart within the first few instances of cqc.

1000000 Delaware Detroit Smash% sure that standard battle assumptions already had the verse equalized statement

but for those who cant read i suppose i'll add it in anyway

I could say Jotaro with just experience alone.

Full Cowl only give Deku a slighty superhuman strength, Jotaro could fly, extend SP 's index finger, make it intangible and then stab Deku's heart.

DONE.

I'm pretty sure Jotaro doesn't have flight, he just jumps with his stand. The anime didn't portray it well. The intangible ability isn't used by Jotaro against the enemy, iirc. He much prefers his punches over special abilities. Don't have a vote, just adding my input.

Flight maybe, levitation I think is more accurate consudering he started float. Even Pol has a pseudo levitation by having SC hold him in the air.

But yeah, flight isn't exactly accurate.

Actually the "flight" are just stand-powered jumps messed up by manga-to-anime conversion. Wait... lets make flying jotaro a meme.

Sorry. Let's see... I'd say Deku due to the 2 ways he can fight Jotaro compared to his opponent's 1 way. Deku can one shot Jotaro himself in Full Cowl while able to tank a couple of SC's hits AND can just use range to do Finger shockwaves albiet he only has 12 tries.

Doesn't Jotaro have Large building dura?

Via taking multiple barrages from The World while DIO was in a pseudo bloodlusted state.

Deku isn't oneshotting.

And even if he caused major damage to Jotaro, Jotaro aint gonna stand there after getting some broken bones, he'd go for a kill as SBA suggests and that be as simple as getting a single punch in as all he'd need to do is have said punch phase and damage internals plus the range is close enough that it wouldnt be a problem to engage in cqc.

If they started further I could see Deku highdiff but within a few meters Jotaro could easily get in punches and engage cqc and at that point it's a matter of simply having said punches phase.

I imagine both in character? If so Jotaro wouldnt use the infamous heart stop abilitie (He only used on Joseph to reactivate his heart) so he cant one-shot and he doesnt uses flight oftenly. Deku has range and probably would hurt Jotaro as much as Dio did in hos fight, but Jotaro has experince against enemies that keep his distance like Cherry licking ma so I dont see him going down thanks to Deku's range, Kakyoin's range is probably bigger than Deku takes very good space thanks to Green's Danmaku, I see him being stronger overall and have better experience against enemies with good range attack, Deku would pull a great fight but Dio has betyer hax and possibly better strenght than Deku and Jotaro still won (With a Deus Ex but he gave an amazing fight).

Jotaro technically doesnt have flight and Heirophabt green's range is like 100 meters.

But yes in character but also willing to kill, Jotaro if he needed to kill and wanted to kill would likely go all out or at least wpuld after he realizes his opponent's strength, going all out which would include phasing, and in universe where he merely crippled his opponent's instead of killing, here he'd be willing.

Jotaro is willing to kill, but unless he needs to, I don't see him going out of his way to kill. OP doesn't specify death as the only way to win, so incapacitation via oraora would definitely be Jotaro's method of choice.

Jotaro - 1 (Newendiego)

Izuku - ? (Neo didn't clarify if he was keeping his vote or not)

I still don't think Jotaro would use intangibility in a fight. He never used much else other than punches for his fights, not even against dio, who he had full intention of killing from the start. I would say his punches would be enough to at least incapacitate, if not outright kill deku. Both have matching dura and ap, but Jotaro has an edge with experience. I'd vote Jotaro for these reasons. (In the end I'd end up voting for Jotaro either way, I'd just think it would be more realistic if he didn't go straight for intangible hax)

Jotaro phasing in combat isn't a thing, he probably still wins this but i feel the need to point that out, yes he has used it to restart his heart, but he has never used it to phase through his opponent while in combat so i don't think we should assume he can do it when he has never been shown to.

He's phased through glass cases and metal and Joseph's body.

Of course it's not his go to, why would he ever do It? He merely incaps and phasing would kill.

But in a battle against someone he's willing to kill per SBA it's a part of his arsenal that can be used even if its not brought out at the start.
