Thread intended to promote discussion about the verse. Like before, big or general changes in the verse's stats should still be discussed in a separate thread on the content revision board in order to get the necessary attention. Hmm allow me to be the first one to throw comment here

So can we add touma to the top tiers via IT ? or this also up to the air ? and we're yet to add Misaka's windowless building , i can add it myself if you guys don't mind
 
Done with misaka upgrade

My english isn't so good so maybe lazy or don't talk can choose wiser words to put but the edit is done for the most part
 
I addded the technique in the notable techniques section and added in the AP section that it requires the participation of Misaki.

Though I still think that we should, once someone feels motivated to do so, add a key for her with the A.A.A and add the combination technique to that.

The combination technique doesn't really require the AAA, though.

IT varies in strength in the novel and we don't have a clear picture of what it is or how it works beyond the basics, so I'd say it's too soon to give it a tier. It would be in the Top Tier at the minimum from what we've seen so far.
 
Hm... well you are right it doesn't.

Just a question, which stats would the assembly of Misakas A.A.A. pieces give her? She doesn't have all weapons of Noukan, so what would be added?

If just one stat or so is changed with it, we could also just give it as standard equipement (given that at this point in time it seems to be a standard for Misaka) and work without second key.
 
I don't know if we ever got a full description of the weapons of her custom AAA, in NT16 the text describes it as "countless cannons" that shoot "metal shells" and "laser beams". From the NT16 illustration, the silhouette and weapons seem to be the same as the ones from the AAA she used in NT15, which did have a lot of weapons listed. The most notable thing assuming she recreated the one she got first, which seems to be the case, would be the large caliber railgun. She doesn't have the super thrusters and the mega drill Noukan used that one time, nor she appears to have the ability to just call in and switch weapons on command like he did.

Given there's not that much of a change in stats, we can add it as equipment like "After NT15 Mikoto has access to her own custom AAA, which lacks these weapons/tools"

In regards to Touma, mostly based on your suggestion in the last thread I suppose we change his AP to

"Street level normally. At least Multi-Planet level (Can deflect Othinus crossbow bolts, it's apparently used to seal IT, which is much stronger than La Persona Superiore a Dio Fiamma and barely negated casual attacks from a powered up Aiwass that casually destroyed a stronger IT than the one from WWIII), likely higher, possibly Universe level+ (IB can be used to undo a phase shift, negated and destroyed Othinus' Gungnir, it's the "perfect shield" counterpart to World Rejecter's "perfect sword") against supernatural things through Imagine Breaker. At least Planet level with the Invisible Thing (vastly more powerful than La Persona Superiore a Dio Fiamma)"

And the IB part of that also again in the durability section, yes?
 
^Sound responsible in regard of touma , i agree , also IT may have it's own key imo because it's confusing with how many rating touma have

Given the possible Tier 2 rating, I feel we should make a content revision thread for the IB change like we did with Kakeru and the WR.

If we learn more about IT and confirm it's a separate entity from Touma IMO we can put it in another key.
 
^ that not the point tho IT is just different from the power he usually use , it's not major issue tho if you think it's unecessary i won't argue on it too much
 
IMO keys should be used when there are significant changes to a character's power, either due to new transformations/forms or due to time progress. They could also be used for a significant summon/extra the character has. If IT is a separate being, it would fall into this second category.

Also, Railgun 96 is out. The Scavengers are celebrating that their job is done and their ranks are restored. Nothing much, but we also get the time limit for Seike's ability, which is useful.
 
Shouldn't Othinus have infinite speed(or imensurable) for existing without the universe?

And i noticed that we limit characters such as accelerator to feats but there's other verses like medaka box( https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Gagamaru_Chougasaki ) were the explanation of a character ability is suficient, i'm not saying that we should upgrade accelerator reflection to infinite speed but i think something should be changed.
 
^I don't understand your point , accel have limit on his ability because we don't want to enter the NLF territory and that will also be assumption which doesn't justfly his power

Some people claim that accel can reflect a big bang
 
Thats my point, if accel can't reflect the Big Bang or a FTL punch why can the other character? I'm fine with accel having a limit, avoids pointless discussions, i just don't think it's fair to restrict a character to feats and let the other be a walking NLF, just though i should bring this up don't know if its worth doing a content revision thread.
 
Othinus never existed without spacetime.


In regards to accel: In general accels page just has the higher quality here. That something is a NLF is not something that usually has to be noted, because it is self explanatory. Half of the reason it is noted on accels page is because there are details regarding the discussion wether it is a NLF or not given.

Though in regards to Gagamaru I considered to maybe suggest adding a note, because for him I do see it relatively often abused into NLF realms.

Well just like you said it's not accel page that is wrong it's the other pages that lack editing , most of those character fall into the category of NLF when they abuse their power

The character you linked may need a note in his profile as well
 
I think Junko Hokaze should be "Street level, at least Superhuman speed" given the second Astral Buddy chapter. What do you guys think?
 
Given her jumping height that one time she should be able to move at least 13.7 m/s.

So the stats seem fine.

I really doubt the thread will get much input and if you guys are busy i don't mind doing it myself

We should probably revise the speeds of God's Right Seat sans Acqua since they don't display superhuman speed. Terra and Fiamma still have their reaction feats, but Vento doesn't really have anything.
 
Season III should cover some of my favorite moments of the series, and though I really enjoyed HO anime (besides some anime-original choices and Object battles not really capturing the feel they have in the novels except for Baby Magnum vs Rush), I look forward to seeing characters like Acqua of the Back and Kakine Teitoku animated (though Acqua already showed up briefly at the end of Season II to pick up Vento).
 
Kakine vs Accelerator as well as the battle of Buckingham Palace will be great to see.

If the season will be as long as the last two it should end right before the WWIII arc... I really hope they do a few extra episodes or a movie or something to cover that arc as well.

It would be a hard cliffhanger to have it end right after Fiamma steals John's Pen and controls Index.
 
Trying to cram the 3 WWIII volumes into a single movie or a couple episodes would suck hard. If the season is 24 episodes long they'll probably end it in OT19 with the cliffhanger of all 3 MCs going to Russia.
 
Index iii should covers from terra of the left to the dragon arc in 2 cours\24-26 epsidoes

WWIII can be done in another cour or 3 movies
 
I wonder if Misakas durability with Iron Sand shield should be upgraded given the Doppelganger fight. On one hand just because of the sheer thickness of the shields given the amount of Iron Sand she demonstrated being able to control, but also because she can more or less block the Doppelganger golems attacks with it.

In the first place her shielding with Iron Sand basically uses the same mechanism as when she attacks with it (essentially attacking the opponents attacks), so having its durability equal to its attack power would not seem unreasonable.
 
I don't think so, her regular shields only act as walls to stop and or grab things without vibrating them to cut like she does when attacking. Not to mention they never have reached the volumes of her higher offensive stuff.
