Holy shit.... this is what not reading spoilers does... Wonders, SSJ3 Vegeta crazy shit. Also like they kept it consistent, SSJ2 Vegeta couldn't take care of business fast enough like Goatku can before Tama got that buff

people keep saying ssj3 vegeta but hear me out. What if it's actually ssj 2.5 Vegeta? his hair is longer but not in that distinctive curved shape like Goku, Gotenks, or Vegeta in his various ssj3 appearances. but he also lost his eyebrows. so clearly this must be a mid-state between ssj2 and 3. otherwise known as ssj 2.5.

Cell is a much smarter fighter than Trunks is on account of having DNA from the likes of Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, etc..., although he doesn't outright state Vegeta could use it he does say it's likely he could but unlike Trunks knew the drawbacks that came with it weren't worth it.

Uh yeah cause most of the time fights involving SSJ3 are cut short. Also they just… let Vegeta have no stamina drain even though having shit stamina is the ******* point of being turned into a child.

It opens up with Trunks 9th bday.
It also opens with the dragon balls being inert still due to the wish to make Buu good.
We don't know exactly when Trunks was born but it's possible that the Namekian Balls where on cooldown still post Buu-Saga due to a few unknown variables but it taking place not long after to where Earth's DB's still nonfunctional.
