Since this is SBA, Taking is 6-D and Aatrox doesn't resist everything Taking does either. Taking is a form of incap, since it makes you a servant of Oryx.

Magnus wasn't able to get past Oryx' Type 5 Acausality.
 
Magnus has concept manipulation to get past that. Oryx resists that ability, but Magnus also has resistance negation.
 
And Oryx resist resistance negation. He can also practically become his second key mid battle. Anyway if you want to argue for Magnus further you should do so on that thread.
