There's really nothing Alex can do here, though. Gasing won't work, he doesn't need to breathe and is inorganic, absorption, fear and sleep manipulation if he doesn't intend to fight, etc

Dark Matter Kakine is just information and an inanimate object. The concept of whether he has a soul is debatable on if you think pure information can house a soul or not. His organs, however, may still house his Soul but Rimuru would have to find where it's housed. But even that is just a theory. It depends on your intepretation but: DM Bodies are just matter with personality information in them.
