Dimensional travel, a gun and opposite personalities.

Both have minor knowledge of what the other can do. Aside from that nothing special for any of them.

Is anything preventing Valentine from paradoxing Rick and calling it a day? In fact, while I don't doubt that Rick could build something to counter it, he also doesn't have anything against Love Train.
 
No Love Train. Paradoxing doesn't work on characters who can meet with other realities versions of themselves.
 
I'm going with Valentine due to better resistance + better attack potency with D4C. If he is about to lose he can just change with another Valentine(basically giving that other valentine D4C while losing it) and then going back onto battle.
 
How about this? paradoxing by getting, not rick, but 2 objects from other realities and had them meet next to rick, thus killing him in the fall out. Would that be allowed?
 
Well, all of Rick's objects are as immune as he is, so no. Rules of reality aren't only for people.
 
Can Rick see D4C? If not, the President just needs to get close enough and just beat Rick down with his stand. We know Rick is willing to do this as shown when he fought the current president in his timeline.

Rick also is gonna have trouble if Funny tries to pull some crazy shit where he merges multiple universes into one single point and possibly having Rick kill himself with his own weapon... That is a part of his kit on this wiki yeah? Just like he tried to pull against Johnny.

Not Rick's objects. I mean if he got like the alternate form of a rock that Rick happens to be standing by and tosses it at him. If we don't even accept that something as basic as that will not work, then I honestly don't know how this would work due to clashing cosmology.

He probably cannot on his own, but he should easily be able to determine that their is a non-corporeal force that he cannot see and then build something so that he can.

That is potentially possible, especially if we assume that there are Multiple Valentine fighting multiple rick due to branching timelines that wouldn't exist usually in the jojo cosmology, but since there is verse equalization, I guess he should be able to access them.
 
That would blow up one of his legs or something but it's pretty much not a factor. Heck Valentine could be in a hole fight without even tying to paradox something.
 
The fall out for a small object isn't that small. If I recall, Valentine was decently worried about the fall out of the alternate hand guns if he picked up one of them while the other was on his person. Granted, there was more going on there but its still enough of a threat.
 
That's very out of context and he wasn't even worried on getting killed due to that.
 
I think I made it clear there was more going on, but at least in my interpretation he was asking Valentine to take the gun because he knew it would either spell death or segnificantly injure him. Yes, Johnny probably would have shot him had he survived the paradox, but he was already on track to suffer for all eternity due to the infinite rotation anyway.
 
Valentine was going to be discovered, that alone is bad why add more? We also never see the range of the paradoxing to be all that big, hence Diego only had his head removed and there was still blood when Wekapipo got that with a whole other Wekapipo.

Funnily enough that's actually how D4C was originally supposed to act and was explained how it functioned, overlapping multiple dimensions to exist at a given location at the same time.
 
Rick would need NPI, at minimum, considering that the death hax comes via random tech.
