Ford Pines vs. Scrooge McDuck (Battle of the Experienced Adventurer Uncles) (Voting Completed)

During his travels throughout the multiverse, Ford Pines arrived in a universe where the world was populated, not by humans, but by human-sized ducks. (And he didn't even see Howard the Duck there.) However, the previous device he was using had burnt itself out, and upon investigating, the only other trans-dimensional device on this universe was in the hands of one Scrooge McDuck. After discovering the location of Scrooge's Vault, breaking in was a cinch for him. As he attempted to locate the device, he unfortunately ran straight into Scrooge McDuck himself, who was personally checking to make sure everything was where it was supposed to be. Upon discovering Ford, however, he quickly activated the security measures and locking every door in the Vault, including the way out. With nowhere to go, Ford readied himself for another fight in his long quest to return home, hoping that it won't suddenly come to a premature end here and now.

In the blue corner, we have Ford Pines from Gravity Falls, and in the red corner, we have Scrooge McDuck from the new 2017 Ducktales series.

-While Ford has a base knowledge on who Scrooge is, neither character knows what the other is capable of, and there is no prep time.

-Neither character are allowed any outside help.

-This fight takes place in the McDuck Vault, technically giving the home-court advantage to Scrooge.

-Speed is unequalized.

With all this being said, let the debate begin!

So his existence erasure thing is a gun, yeah?

meanwhime Scrooge can petrify him with the gauntlet or like go back in time or something similar. I guess it depends on how their abilities all work though.
 
...Except that the gun is extremely unwieldy, and Scrooge would be able to avoid it quite easily.
 
Scrooge has some decent, more versatile hax such as petrification and sleep inducement. That, and Scrooge likely has more combat experience, still being alive around the times of the Klondike Gold Rush Vote's on McDuck.
 
Okay, after reviewing this clip here, I realized that it may not have been as unwieldy as I remembered it being. However, he still only gets one shot, as according to the design of the weapon itself, which ca be dodged by Scrooge, and that's that for that option. That much is certain.

Also, in a fist fight, I don't think he really starts with that, anyway.
 
well if scrooge decides to come in and fight, he could easily just freeze him which iirc he did do to end a fight right away in the comic, also he could take any weapon scrooge has with the magnet gun, ford likely has the AP advanatage due to the massive scaling chain ford has, and he is likely the better fighter and has more experience via fighting and travelling through the multiverse for 30 years which should outdo scrooges long age since fordhad to deal with more and tougher enemies in many many diverse universes
 
Not all of Scrooge's weapons are metallic, so the magnetic gun won't work.

Scrooge's AP should be relatively high as well, due to him having a "possibly 9-A" tier rating, and the size of the rock giant he fought should as well warrant Scrooge on the higher end of Wall level anyways.

For the 30 years thing, I don't recall Ford going up against enemies in that time span as it was never stated nor implied. Scrooge has lived far longer than Ford ever has, and has as well fought against supernatural entities time and time again, so he should at least have as much if not more experience than Ford. My vote is still on Scrooge, btw.
 
Scrooge has some more abilities to be added in by the way, unsure if they'll benefit him in this fight but he still has a good chunk left out.
 
Wait why is the Quantum Destabilizer labeled as EE? I don't think anything indicates it has such a power.

the magnet gun should at least take away a good amount of he weapons

i still think ford is on the higher end of that spectrum since he stomps people (stan) who stomps people (wendy) who stomps people (dipper) who takes down 8 headed bears (who is presumed to be far above regular bears), gnomes who easily take down body gaurds who can be smashed through walls, overpowered the shapeshifter with help who destroyed a solid steel cage, is comparable to the manutaurs who are comparable if not higher than the multi bear, and can take hits from those that can hurt him and he tanked many of Rumble Mcskirmishes hits who is also above baseline 9-B and would also be a nearly good to fight scrooge so ford also takes this one by a long shot even if scrooge has that possibly 9-A

he states that he fought many enemies including talking chairs (i believe he states more but i forget), had to survive in bill's nightmare realm, fought with a group of bandits (highly implied to be rick's group of friends), when he came back he was an expert fighter ready to take on a plethora of monsters and even stan easily in his old age, and even BEFORE all of this he made the journals which all have an absurd amount of curses, magic, monsters (including many of what scrooge has fought and more such as ghosts, monsters, and just so many creatures that just outnumber how much scrooge has fought), weapons, and more so ford definately takes that since like you said, scrooge has only fought supernatural entities from time to time while ford literally killed a monster thats eats human flesh before dinner like it was another friday, and the age difference isn't also major since scrooge is 60's-80's while ford is late 60's so they are pretty even age wise so your claim that age evens it out (despite it not really) also doesn't work

also consider the fact ford is an accomplished thief and fighter across the multiverse known for his many crimes, is faster than scrooge (similar to the scaling chain above where he is above stan, who is above wendy, who is above dipper, who is superhuman, assuming that since compared to wendy dipper is a normal boy and same with wendy to stan, though the reactions may prove to be a problem and scrooge may still be a bit comparable to ford), is a better fighter (again, he is a better fighter than stan who is a better fighter than essentially everyone else including dipper and wendy who fought the multi bear and the shape-shifter), is much, MUCH smarter, and as he usually always carries around laser guns, he could just laser scrooge before he even uses his other weapons

scrooge can win if he has uses his good stuff before ford even starts but that is unlikely since ford is smart enough to know to just kill his enemies right away as shown throughout the series though the possibility scrooge does this means he can still win it is just not likely going to happen before ford since scrooge doesn't even use his weapons that much and mainly just uses his cane and stuff

also since ford has base knowledge on scrooge he knows not to mess around (also OP please give scrooge base knowledge too so it is not to unfair)

did this change your mind @EMagolorSoul and the others? i am not trying to be a douche i genuinely mean did this change your guys' mind over this battle
 
That paragraph is extremely long to read & keep track of, and not to be rude or anything but your lack of grammar and punctuation makes it less comprehensible.
 
Maybe I need more punctuation but I think my grammar in general is okay And sorry about that, but since it is long I just can't edit it especially since I am on the phone now Just read it slowly or take it into chunks, it will make sense instead of just absorbing it all in

I might vote incon. Ford seems to have more experience over a wider scale but Scrooge has more solo experience which would give him the edge if it wasn't for Ford's better intelligence. I feel like it could go either way tbh
 
Actually ford may have more solo experience as he talks of found many missions on his own such as the M dimension, second dimensional dimension and the biggest one of all, the nightmare realm
 
Yeah that's fair actually. Ford has my vote.

Plus I'm not using this in my reasoning but you'd think Ford has seen the kind of guns Scrooge uses in his travels across the multiverse
 
Apologies. I kinda lost the votes for Ford there.

Also, I'm not sure if everyone understood the very long post you made on why Ford would win. Perhaps summarizing why you think so would help your case? Because as far as everyone is aware, I believe, the votes for Scrooge haven't been debunked yet.

The argument was that scrooge has more versatile hax and has better experience but i said ford could take away most of scrooges weapons with the magnet gun and since ford is more willing to use his hax (as shown multiple times) while scrooge will more likely just use his cane and the such so even if ford takes away his weapons scrooge won't use his hax

and i said since ford is around scrooges age and has been shown to take down everything scrooge has and more and the 30 years in the nightmare realm has given him more than enough experience than scrooge (You could find my claims in the second paragraph)

and i said ford was much stronger than scrooge (first paragraph), faster (third paragraph), and is a better fighter (third paragraph)
