Why are the Medaka box characters at there current ratings?

A lot of there justifications is just "Via power scaling" which is super annoying and shouldn't be used as justification in profiles without at least saying who there scaled to. Where did the MCB and CB feats come from?

this isn't really a revision, though anyone is more than welcome to spruce up there justifications. I just want to know where their feats come from.
 
I mean, all we need to do is just find who they power scale from and say, "Comparable to X." I could find what most of them scale from.

City Block comes from the fact that she moved an entire wing of campus, if not multiple, and was having them collapse from the strain, which contained several large buildings
 
I mean, there was the shenanigans with likely revisions to a number of Pokémon profiles. Medaka Box is notably in a worse situation because of the nature of it being a parody, so imo, it's not easy with the calcs and scaling because of how flamboyant it is, manga or anime wise.
 
There was a policy passed, or at least a rule of thumb that got accepted, that most Medaka Box character are generally comparable within the same arc

At least up to Volume 6, Medaka Box has no feats above 9-A escept for a feat done by War-God Mode Medaka, which wouldn't really scale to anyone else (and I'm not sure if that's actually 8-B, but still).

Even if there's a feat later which would scale to Post-Maguro training Medaka and the rest of the cast, BoS Medaka should be 9-A.
 
The feat of moving multiple large building that were coming apart. That is 8-B, or if you low Ball it large building. That can scale to most of the series. Unzen has a wall level feat that scales only in that he isn't a generally physical fighter so most others would be superior to him
 
Unzen has 9-A feat IRC. When he blew up an entire wall section of a room.

Does War-God Mode Medaka appear in the fight against the 13 Party? If yes, people would scale. If not, and if she's never really referenced as a scaling point either in that arc, then there's really no way to compare them.
 
Zenckichi, Akune and the others aren't comparable to (Base) Medaka until the 13 Party Arc. Prior to that, anyone is considered vastly weaker than her.
 
Oh, I remember now. Koga is stated to be superior to Medaka, so she at least scales.

Munakata is comparable enough to be able to one shot War God Medaka with a solid hit. Zenkichi is comparable physically, but not against Munakata with weapons which is what he can use to match Medaka. Zenkichi kept up more via disarmament
 
We were going to revise the Medaka Bax profiles, and waited for calculations, but nothing happened.

If somebody could find some feats that can be calculated (and are not performed via hax like the 8-A feat, which should not be scaled from), that would be appreciated.
 
The iihiko one can definitely be calculated

However, iirc we talked about the feat of moving wings of the school, and determined that it would be almost impossible to get a solid calc of
 
Well, I suppose that guesswork might have to do then.
 
You can ask some calc group members to calculate the Iihiko feat if you wish. You can tell them that I would appreciate the help.
 
Also once again, I don't recall there being any hax used to cut the aircraft carrier in half. In fact, checking the Medaka Box wiki and this one, it's called a feat of swordsmanship both times, with no mention of hax.
 
Okay. But if it wasn't directly stated by Nienami I don't think we should assume that.

The only time I can remember where it might be implied is when she talks about cutting a large object, but we don't know if that's what she was specifically referring to.
 
I am re reading early Medaka Box to look for feats. I forgot how long Early chapters were

I found a statement that Pre-Unzen Arc Base Medaka is mach 2, but that is before it even became a battle shonen completely. At least we have a base travel speed for her for BoS. I don't think we even have a key for her that early lol
 
I also remember it being stated that contradictory conjunction, that allowed her to make weak attacks powerful, and vice versa, was responsible.
 
Yes. We need to remove the scaling from that.
 
Medaka does have a speed feat in the Unzen Arc though. I think it was something like bringing multiple thins outside of a room before Unzen's bombs could explode or something. I'll have to check again.
