This New Ulquiorra Character created for Brave Souls has on his official brave souls profile the following: "A special version of Ulquiorra created to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of Brave Souls. This is Ulquiorra's form when he releases power greater even than that of a Resurrección. In this form, he has the destructive power to render everything he sees into nothingness."

Gameplay: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mJ0xcfQ_WOo

It's been discussed that this is writers using flowery language and that it should not be accepted.

His power is been explained by it's creators as part of his destructive power, now, Ulquiorra is a soul himself, turning his opponents that are also souls to nothingness is a feat. The problem with his part is that "all" characters in the game die with a similar animatio which is "faiding away" therefore it's effect are inconclusive in combat.

The thread was requested to be made by Wokista for the "Existence Erasure" to be discussed. And to conclude if we should remove or keep it on his profile.

I think the argument against it is that people think that it saying he sees is just flowery language. This is wrong though cause multiple times it is stated that his eyes have special properties and even his special ability in the game reflects this.

Cifer

"Are your eyes able to see it? The emptiness of everything in this world."

It mentions multiple times how his eyes can turn things into nothingness/have special properties.

He says he can do something worse than death aka EE

So his eye-sight inflicts constant severe damage and this is backed up by his in-game ability.

NULL Terrorist, nice joke! He does have Dimension Travel via gargunta on his profile though.

Still unsure. Most of those still have the issue of being called destructive power. I'd say the thing that says he can do worse than mere death is your best supporting evidence for that, but it could also refer to a bunch of other situations. Moving from against to neutral though.

Ulquiorra isn't the type of person that would torture someone. The only time he's shown to be doing something like that is with Orihime and he wasn't fighting Orihime. As seen with Ichigo, if he's fighting an opponent he will fight them to kill. There would be no reason for him to say such a thing and be talking about torture when he's in his strongest form. Unless there's another implication for a thing worse than death besides torture and EE, that should explain why it isn't torture and is EE.

@Wrath

Instead of being vague about it being vague, could you be specific about what you find wrong with it? We've already explained that it's not flowery language since it's brought up multiple times and that Ulqu isn't talking about torture when it he says he will show a fate worse than death.

its actually vague tbh. Has he in the first place even been shown to turn somethign into nothing???

If not this is just a hyperbole

Hyperbole = Exaggeration. In his boss rush, he does use the move but since it is a game they're not going to give a boss a move that instantly kills the players and is not dodgeable. Again you're just saying that you find it vague because you find it vague. A character doesn't have to use an ability to know that they have it. Take King Cold for example, he has never been shown to have a third form. But everyone knows he has a third and fourth form because Frieza's race create forms to lower their power. In this case, the character's description says it twice and the character himself says it multiple times.

How do you know hes not talking about tourture or another means to hurt someone? Also using a line like "turn things into nothingness" as a means to justify it. You need more evidence than that.

I know he's not talking about torture because it's not in character for him to use torture or other means to hurt people. I literally posted 6 scans of evidence and explained why it isn't in character for him to use other means above.

Considering that low godly regents and ressurection have both happened in bleach, the "something worse" could refer to soul destruction, for instance.

  • The user of this ability is capable of turning targets to nothing. This can range from only turning the matter of the target to nothing to also turning things like its energy, mind, soul, space, time, concept or even more fundamental aspects of its existence to nothing.
  • Most characters have not the full range of the ability, for example only being able to erase a target's matter and energy, but not its mind, soul, concept, etc.
  • There are abilities, such as for example Low-Godly Regenerationn and above, which can protect from this up to a certain degree of the ability.

    Straight from here

Ulq's EE would just be soul, matter, and energy.

Conceptual EE is insanely broken. As in, masadaverse/high end Warhammer levels of broken. You definitely need stuff to prove that that's a possibility.

Ok, good to know.

Low godly would lose out to soul destruction, and I still don't see any real implications of true EE. I think soul destruction looks good as of now.

If only erasing a target's matter can count as EE then why would you not count being able to erase the matter and the soul as EE?

I have a question about soul destruction in Bleach. Quincies are bad because they have soul destruction upsetting the balance between the worlds. While hollows get purified by zanpakuto and souls eaten by hollows get released when they are purified, does death by cero or kido count as soul destruction as no zanpakuto is involved?

I mean considering the fact that they attack the enemy's soul since most people fighting in bleach are souls and that the enemy's body can be completely obliterated by a kido or cero then yeah soul destruction.

I dont think you can compare this ulq to his manga counterpart considering they are both completely different versions. Considering ulq has the hogyuku, he most likely took it from aizen and betrayed him. I know this is just a theory, since he doesnt have lore.

I think we should get Matthew's opinion, as he is the Bleach expert.
Please don't call me that. I would much rather you call Soldier Blue the expert.

And second, I don't mind this addition.

Never heard of EE being EE if it was just physical, but if it can do both then it should be ok.
