Waifu collector direction just feels bland and unimaginative. It's the most play-safe option you can do and the biggest signal that the devs don't actually have any faith in this game because they're defaulting to tried and true tactics to get people into it.

Especially contrasting with how well Genshin and HSR do with their broader appeal and still the ability to release comparably popular male characters. ZZZ doesn't have to be the kind of game that does this. Lycaon's reception is proof of this.

I really hope it doesn't become like that cuz I would so love to play the bros here and there lol.

It's just the fem to male ratio per faction is so ass and biased xD

Yeah, hence my point of them making it a waifu-collecting game being the trashiest thing they can do as a fallback because it shows they have no faith in the game.
