Yamchar vs Paul Phoenix: battle of joke characters!

Phoenix should take this comfortably.

Because as much as he is a joke character, he's skilled enough to the point of stale mating Kazuya and defeating first form Ogre, and getting very far into every tournament he participates in.

All in all, he should take this.
 
If we are using the 8-B version of Yamcha here, shouldn't he already have techniques like Spirit Ball and Kamehameha? Besides, while both can do the same damage, Yamcha could spam attacks from distance as is stated that he already can do Ki blasts, and he also Hypersonic+ while Paul is only Supersonic+

Yamcha wins, if he is not cocky
 
Yamcha's first use Spirit Ball in 23rd Budokai, 8-B Yamcha still hasn't it. But yes he can use Kamehameha in this version.

Also, Speed is equalized.
 
Speed Equalized? should have stated that sooner, I still think that Yamcha wins due to him having more abilities and range than Paul

Ki blasts>Punches

I don't see Paul being able to punch Yamcha as he will probably sent a kamehameha on him always that he is close, or just launch a energy attack to get space between them
 
Why is Yamcha only 5-B? He beat up Recoome like he was literall trash, who beat up amped Vegeta, who beat Super Zarbon, who beat Saiyan Saga Vegeta.
 
Well, Yamcha is powerscaled to Tao Pai Pai, that killed General Blue, who was stronger than Android 8, who destroyed muscle tower, so I don't think so.
