Wiki Vandalism Reports

Fixed it. Just needs a warning from staff now

JokeBattles ass Profile

The user in question above is different. https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/Naeem0304
@Naeem0304 , this Naeem is inactive since dec 2024.

And
This above user who vandalised profiles doesn't even have a account on forum.

Or are they same person with 2 accounts?
Was about to mention a possible "Forgotten password situation," but the new account was created a day before the latter's latest edit. Though could be a "Forgot password, remembered it again, but then either forgot or decided to just stick with new account."

Somebody made Brian Moser tier 0. I reverted the changes.

@DarkDragonMedeus It was precisely your second point.

Anyway, I greatly apologize for vandalizing the MCU Sentry profile. I will also explain why I did this for the profiles of Fox Doctor Doom, Human Torch and Silver Surfer.

In that thread (For the Fox Fantastic Four Duology), I was under the impression that staff meant anyone with a colored tab beneath their name. Even in spite of this confusion, I apologize for instinctively applying changes without reason.

I did receive a warning from @Antvasima which said this:
Do not change the statistics of our character profile pages, or otherwise make significant changes to them, without a preceding content revision thread in our forum that has been accepted by our staff.
I should've implored the meaning of this statement by properly reading the FAQ, and maintaining the standards of the site. When I made changes to The Sentry (which actually began on July 28th just to be clear), I was under the impression minor powers/abilities and/or blatant statements were allowed to be implemented. I should've asked a staff member, submitted a "Questions and Answers" inquiry, and read the FAQ (which I'll admit I haven't fully done).

I take full responsibility.

Yeah, no actually. You still need to make a CRT for a self-evident revision (In which, you only need atleast an approval from 1 thread moderator in the CRT and then wait for a grace time of 24 hours or so). Per discussion rules.
For content revision suggestions, generally, a standard grace period of 48 hours should be allowed for the reviewing staff members to evaluate and approve them. However, in the case of extremely blatant, self-evident revisions, a grace period of 24 hours is acceptable. Until this grace period has elapsed, since the time of the thread's creation, the revision should not be applied to the profiles.
However, in cases of minor revisions where only one vote is needed, it is necessary for at least one other staff member to approve the thread before it can be implemented. This serves to ensure that all content additions, even those suggested by staff members, are subject to supervision and oversight.
I just had the need to tell you this given most vandalism happen on the idea that minor abilities don't need CRTs even if it's very evident.

This user had vandalized this page by adding tier 1 stats without a revision. I undid their edit, but they need to be warned.
Gave them.
You don't need to undo each individual edit one by one. Simply compare the most recent version with the last version before the page was vandalized. Then use the undo function on that revision, this will revert the page back to its state before the vandalism occurred.

I tried doing that, but for some reason it only undid the 2nd to last edit and not both it and the last edit. I'm not really sure if it's a bug, because this has never happened to me before.

Well, if the admin rollback button is not sufficient due to conflicting edits, I tend to click on that stored version of the page right before the vandalism begun, then click edit, and then click save. That works as well if there are problems with your method. 🙏

That's also one way to do, i am kinda accustomed to method i said above. Both works anyways.

Change made without link to the content revision thread, in which the thread lacks concluding evaluations and edits were made unannounced.

I accidentally made a minor change to the Xenoverse 2 Future Warrior while working on my own blog post. I reverted it back.

As pointed out to you by another user, CRT Grace Period starts from thread creation. I would think you know this due to being on here far longer than I.

Ah, yes, since two staff votes and a grace period of almost a month is lacking, "concluding evaluations."

Edit - Enough with me being sarcastic, but I told him like @Wankbreaker said about the thread having already concluded, @ShadowWhoWalks responded like this...

After that, I made sure to show him what I meant, even though his clear negative response.

Now, what was his response to that? Completely ignore it and blame and report @Wankbreaker for "Vandalism"...

Usually profile's that are below tier 1 are not locked (Popular verse character's are exceptions to this), but when we get repeated vandalism on some specific profile, it's best to lock that profile for some time.

Vandalism of tiers.

Vandalism of tiers.
It's the same user that I mentioned above. Seems they dgaf if they got a warning or not.

Vandalism of tiers.
They still vandalising even after warning, so I gave them a temporary ban of 1 week.

I leave this case on admins whether they want to extend or remove.
