Why is Sentry weaker than Molecule Man?

Even though he beat Molecule Man in a fight? No, I don't think this is an outlier feat since this fight took places two years later after his fight against World War Hulk, and Sentry himself even admitted that he didn't properly understood his Molecule Manipulation powers at the time and he was just discovering it.

That is just a typical Brian Bendis style Plot-Induced Stupidity outlier. There is no way that a character with the power of a million supernovas could defeat an entity with the power to easily destroy or create entire multiverses.

Tom Brevoort also stated himself that it was just plot convenience similar to when the Fantastic Four have beaten the Molecule Man.
