Why is Goku such a high tier?

That needle is on the god level, clearly it is above Goku, Goku shouldn't be downgrade, the needle should be upgrade to 3-A or higher.

The needle not only breached Goku, but breached Goku's bandages. It also sent downplayers to swarm around the internet. Beyond -infinity tier, with a new speed called omniverse speed, which only the needle has.

Those are the real Dragon Ball God Tiers, immeasurably above fodders like Zen'o or Beerus, the Needle, the Rock, the Laser, the 10 Tons, etc, however, they're so powerful that their powers can't be described in any way, shape or form, so, they don't have pages here.

It would be like Superman weak to a rock (only because it drains his solar power (and eventually kill him when exposed further), and there are different kinds of Kryptonite that affects him), or Spider-Man weak to chemicals that kills bugs. The needle is just a phobia for Goku from the filler (anime only, not from the manga), and it was shown in comedic moments to lose the tension.

I'm not sure about you guys, but y'all make me laugh a little bit. And I don't mean it in a sarcastic way. I almost chuckled a little bit. But yeah. Goku did get hit by a rock when he was just relaxing. Whis did say that no matter how strong he is... let your guard down, and you're finished. Eveyone has their own weaknesses.

Dragon Ball has to be the most inconsistent franchise I've ever seen, it has some of the most powerful characters in all of fiction, such as needle or rock, but it also has some of the weakest beings ever, such as Goku, Omni-King, etc.
