Who's Canon Takes Priority? (Narutoverse)

Seeing as this is a topic that is likely going to blow out of proportion, I have to ask whose canon takes priority?

• Kishimoto's (And Kodachi for writing Boruto)

• Shueisha (For owning Naruto in Part)

The reason I ask is because the Naruto Hiden Novels are being passed as Canon, yet, they aren't connected or stated to be canon by any official source, other than Shueisha.

your missing the point Shueisha is Kishimoto's writing and Boruto's.

when I say Shueisha>Kishi I'm talking about him personally.

your reason for not accepting the novels are based on the preconceived notion that the author has to have direct involvement with the project for it to be canon, which is not true at all, for example, Naruto The Last wasn't even written by Kishimoto it was merely supervised..just like novels.

it's the same thing as me saying none of the current Star Wars movies is canon because they weren't written by George Lucas

and for my final point

The Novels don't contradict anything

they tell important key moments for the characters

Kakashi's role as Hokage and how he developed his new lightning based jutsu, which is even referenced in Boruto

Naruto's Literal wedding

and many more

Kishimoto did the artwork and even gave the authors the go ahead

Kodachi literally wrote some of the Novels

Before someone brings this up

The anime has nothing to do with this
