The Final Weapon is only 4-A if it has the ME, while Mecha can stay at 4-A for a couple seconds without it, so I think he takes this

I think Mecha takes it due to the Final Weapon literally holding the Master Emerald, basically taking away his only weakness and making him invulnerable for as long as the fight goes on.
