Well, Mega Tyranitar is far stronger than his normal form by an unknown amount, so probably both are equal and AP or Tyranitar has a slight AP advantage.GyroNutz said:Right.
Whitebeard is 337 gigatons, and Mega Tar is far above 294. Correct me if I'm wrong on either, but it seems like Mega Tar has a sizeable AP advantage.
Mega Tar also has a nice range advantage and moves like scary face and screech will soften Whitebeard up even more. Passive sandstorm will obscure Whitebeard's vision and damage him throughout the battle. Given his weakness section, despite his precognition, he won't dodge Mega Tar's attacks, meaning he'll be hit with a flurry of stone edges, omnidirectional dark pulses and powerful hyper beams.
However, Whitebeard has two distinct advantages; his intelligence/experience advantage and conqueror haki. While a more intelligent Pokemon wouldn't be affected by this most likely, Whitebeard should be able to incapacitate Tyranitar due to his beastly nature + low intelligence. But while T-tar should be in range of this haki via SBA, I don't know how in-character it is for whitebeard to use this. I'll refrain from voting till then
