When did boa hancock 'easily defeat' smoker?

all she did was kick him and he was taken aback a little, but other than that he was completely unfazed.

She kicked him off of Luffy with a surprise attack, and in the next chapter she broke his weapon with a kick.

Nowhere is it implied that she easily defeated him, on-screen or off-screen.

wheres the source that she won? i just checked the manga and anime and nothing implied she won

She didn't "defeat" smoker, she just stopped him from going after Luffy and didn't allow him to pass her. The scene does portray her as being superior to smoker but there was no winner
