What's a really stupid thing you did when you were new?

I brought up Arceus getting nearly bodied by the meteor... I also was afraid to ask questions because I thought I would get banned and I apologized a lot for little things.

I used to not understand the whole "characters can be tier 2 yet still be a 3D character" thing so I assumed all tier 2s were higher-dimensional by default if they weren't a glass cannon.
Wait how can you not be a glass cannon and still be 3D for tier 2?

I (on an old account long willingly erased) was actually an admin some years ago on a midly important wiki on my native language, and we often used to participate in internal (and external) wars, political games and all that stuff. The community was very very active, and that contributed to the place being 50% content and 50% user drama.

It used a thing called "Leaderboards", and another thing called "Prices". Contributing in specific ways gave you points that you used to climb on a ranking. I was specially petty about that, and at some point managed to conspirate against a guy who had surpassed me at number #7 (And also took his place as chat moderator after he went fugitive).

Public image was quite the thing, some people were quite huh... platonic with each other. Most of the users invested personal emotions into the community and that made every little disagreement really tense. As I said, around 50% of the experience was drama. Another admin recorded 25 "episodes" of a blog series based on just that, and he left the best parts out.

We also had an eternal feud with a wiki about certain colored horses. And clashed with their admins often. Our chat almost always had between 20 and 30 people, and it often got closed over raids or epic "rebellions".

We may have tried to instigate a coup in a neighbour wiki. We actually almost got erased over that, twice. We also got constantly banned in central wikia because we took our fights there.

The wiki also had another infinite war with exactly 4 guys, who constantly created puppets and came back again and again and again, and always made evil plots against us.

As I said, we were relatively important. (The second most active community on "that language" after the actual, real wiki ironically called Drama, go figure). So instead of simply destroying us the wikia central staff went to GREAT lengths to try to keep things in order.

I may have been around 12? years old at this point, and also hunting all the damn "minors" who couldn't have an account due to wikia rules. How dare they!

Then I downloaded GTA and kinda forgot that the place existed. At some point after I heard the bureucrat got deposed and beheaded and the sanest guy in staff took over. The wiki still exists but only as a ghost of its former glory.

My past wikia life was quite turbulent from beginning to end.

What does it mean to have a 4D body?

That you're a higher-dimensional being.

Heck the reason this page got created in the first place is to distinguish the tier 2s and 1s that are higher-dimensional from the ones that are simply 3D with tier 2/1 AP.

I posted the Zalgo page from OBW, which is the first edit I did on the wiki. I'm surprised I wasn't even given a light warning but from an original member to tell me not to post the zalgo page.

Obvious Rule: Fanfiction Characters are not allowed, copy+pasting characters from other wikis are not allowed, creepypasta characters are not allowed and characters with different canons are not allowed.

Then I asked anyone from the Profile Deletion Request Thread on VSBW to close a discussions thread from Omniversal Battlefield Wiki because it was an obvious stomp match

Staff Members on this wiki cannot close Discussion threads on another wiki because they aren't staff members there.

I don't think I have actually done anything stupid in my newbie days. Mostly because I was too timid to actually give my mind on subjects if it could cause an argument.

Created BB vs Reinhard redux. It was really controversial back then because Monarch thingy and I got a massive karma with Kiara vs Mercurius, I ******* hated the thread.

I said that Flash could tag Ultimate Madoka.

Also half of the first EBF revisions because I had no clue about what I was doing

Never really done any stupid stuff. Maybe waiting a year and a half before making my first thread, cause I was afraid of doing something wrong.

I once had a fear of chat and thought I would get into trouble for going in there uninvited.

This didn't happened when I was a newbie but it was a real stupid thing.

Creating Natsu vs Meliodas.

That thread gave me a headache so big that since then I prefer to avoid Natsu's matches.

Oh, gee. I was pretty dumb going into the site, though not as dumb as I've done in the past with other sites. (That I'm not going to get into now.) Here's three highlights:

Both of these threads, where I was a bonehead and assumed that all of a Pokemon's moves were allowed in the debate, even TM moves, instead of just Level-Up Moves and Egg Moves, though that's partly due to the fact that the pages just linked to Bulbapedia for their moves, which is something I'm currently trying to get fixed so people don't get as confused as I was.

Thinking that Quote vs. Mami Tomoe was a good idea. I still don't know how it got accepted, but creating a matchup between two characters of different tiers is a classic rookie mistake, and this is mine. (I mean, there was Bendy vs. An Inkling, but there was justification for that one, and it was pretty acceptable to everyone before the Splatoon upgrade.)

And finally, there's the "Thomas the Tank Engine" incident, where the creator of the Thomas profile was suddenly throwing Thomas at every character in the tier, such as Goku or Shrek, and he got extremely riled when everyone was saying that they just need to blow out the track in order to take him down, and he was wanking him to no end. I know I handled myself very poorly in that situation, outright calling him out and spiting him on the subject, despite him probably just not knowing any better. This is my deepest shame, and one reason why I think I'm not gonna be promoted to a mod any time soon.

A lot. Even over a year after I first joined, I didn't understand why the gap between 4-B and 4-A is so massive despite the Tiering System clearly stating why amongst many other things

Well, almost 3 years ago now, when I first joined, I could not even conceptualize a thing such as rules. I tried to help out as much as I could, but I just ended up inserting umovivated statistics in the profiles.

My crowning achievement of dumbness (which granted, wasn't necessarily my fault) was actually vandalizing Plankton's page accidentally when my Internet died as I was Publishing it. I didn't know how to undo edits back then, so I just left like that. I got a warning.

In the end, after many dumb decisions, I ended up being banned for 6 months by Ant, but I didn't proceed to get seriously involved with site again until the second-half of last year.

Also, my name back then was Awesomecrafter. Yeah.

From what I saw, you upgraded someone from Omniversal to Megaversal. You had a pretty good reason, though

Well, I am still managing the Tenchi Muyo wiki every now and then, but have mostly lost interest in the series.

No wonder that place feels so... silent.
