What level durability is this?

Ikaros without any armor can dive down to a depth of approximately 3000 meters (9842.52 ft) without being crushed by the abyssal pressure.

3000 meters below sea level is 298.611 atmospheres. 1 atm (athmosphere) is the air pressure felt at sea level which is then multiplied by the differentiating factor set in front of it. This means, that Ikaros is designed to withstand a pressure that is 298.611 times greater then what is normally felt at sea level.

The atmosphere at sea level is 14.7 pounds per inch squared which is 6 quadrillion tons. Would Ikaros surviving 3000 meters and another angeloid surviving 8000 meters below sea level be higher?

@Kasyacarey

That's still Building level and nowhere near the Angeloids other feats.

You explain this to me I thought that 1 atmosphere below sea level = 1 atmosphere at sea level which is 14.7 pound per squared inch all together 6 quadrillion tons

No one bears the whole weight of the ocean all at once since it isn't focused into a single point.

If this were true, we'd have nigh-indestructible submarines.

33,700 tons per square meter. I mean Ikaros without any armor survived more than 3000 meters and Seiren can surivive 8000m below sea level. should not still be higher than building level right? It takes 2 to 11 tons to destroy building to large building level.

Technically you cant directly convert weight into joules, but to exert Building level energy just by lifting something you'd have to be able to lift 1e+9 kg, or over 1,102,311 tons

so would it be 33700*3000= 101,100,000?
