Weather Report vs Iihiko

Meh it gets resisted. Shiranui has the same ability and Ajimu has tons of ability modifying powers.

About the stomp for HW. Nah. If a character has a decent chance to win even against a passive it's not a stomp. Passives are more often than not stomps because it is EXTREMELY rare for any character to counter a passive with an active. That's not the case here, as Iihiko can just yeet the passive, it's just a case of will he do that or not.
 
A equal vote count leads to an incon too Earl. Especially if both sides are adamant about their character winning.
 
Assuming that passive wins arent automatically stomps, bceause they are, im pretty sure that the chances of Iihiko being able to do anything are super slim, if they even exist at all because HW works fast
 
Hw doesn't work though subliminal messages don't force recognition of the message so he just ignores it

Iihiko's ability is also a passive in a sense. He has to actively recognize stuff, otherwise it gets noped. He has a chance to actively recognize the snailing, but there is also the chance that he doesn't do that so it will get passively nosold.

But Iihiko still resists power affecting stuff and he has seen those before so it wouldn't be fresh to him. So the worst that could happen is Iihiko gets snailed, swaps bodies (passes on the legend) and calls it a day.
 
He would just not recognize the light which makes him think that

He could also just ignore the thoughts of you are a snail

He ignored someone copying his powers by looking at him so he doesn't really need know that something would harm him for it to be ignored
 
He passively ignores things that affect him even if he doesn't know they do so he ignores the light and even if he doesn't

He's ignored the force and damage of his attacks being transferred to another location, his powers being copied with a look, an opponent using stat amps etc. None of those things he could have known were going to happen or even do anything to him at all but they still were ignored and didn't work. So it's not that much of a stretch to say he gets to ignore his own thoughts if they have the potential to harm him
 
He can ignore plenty of other things that are not even directly harmful to him that he definitely had no way to know about
 
Since grace for inconclusive ended a while ago, I'm gonna go ahead and add this to Weather's profile, and get it added to Iihiko's

Yes but styles work on him because words can reach him. In this case shouldn't the subliminal words reach him?
 
No styles work because they force recognition subliminal messages by definition are not supposed to be recognized
 
Styles force recognition? I don't remember that.

If they forced recognition they should work against frenzies opponents. It didn't work against frenzied Medaka because words couldn't reach her.
 
Force recognition in that, if you understand the words, you are effected by the style. Since Iihiko naturally recognizes the words, he is forced to recognize the style

And if it just means "If you understand the words you are affected" then Iihiko should be affected due to the nature of Heavy Weather.
 
I think that even if the subliminal message work (resist mental skills from Ajimu), it's useless. I mean even if he get turned into snail (resist body modification skills from Ajimu), with his superhuman reactivity (Medaka's Phantom is slow for him) and supernatural luck (he will most likely have the the best case possible, slowly turning into a snail), he would just recognize it as an attack, break it, and will never be affected by it again. Don't you think?
 
If he recognises it, it means that it works. WR is forcing recognition anyway. Its only attacks that Iihiko doesn't recognise that don't work.
