But I don't see Social Influencing of Heavy Weather's kind on that powernull list so...
 
The thing is that it forces recognition now. Unlike before, the explanation now is that Weather turns visible light into a message that only the subconscious can pick up. Once picked up, the victim convinces themselves that they are in fact a snail.
 
I mean even if Iihiko recognizes the light this time

The process isn't instant so Weather still dies before Iihiko is fully snailed
 
Except that unless you're aware of Stands and the snailing process, it is kinda instant. Normal humans weren't even aware they were turning into snails, and thought it was completely normal. Pucci even explained that people who view themselves turning into a snails see it as a normal occurrence. Also it kinda nulls abilities by making you as dumb as a snail.
 
Considering that it's just Iihiko lacking the higher brain functions to use his abilities, rather that straight up power null, I'd say yes.
 
He just has to shoot a rubber band or punch the air at any point before he is fully snailed and Weather dies.
 
From 4km? Nah, Iihiko gets snailed. Social influncing is literally what styles are, and Heavy Weather is weaponizing it better than every style user. He takes the win here.

Actually wait. Let's assume iihiko gets snailed. Then what? No for real he gets snailed. He still has all his powers. He just weaponizes air with his snail antennas and 1 shots.
 
His powers are passive though. He's still immune to anything weather can do. And will eventually just end up staring too hard.
 
Because he will believe his powers don't work anymore due to snailing, exactly like how Stand users saw their stands become snail-like and useless.

Well his powers are not like stands. His power is a passive thing based on belief. Even if he believes he has no powers his powers won't go. Whereas stands will cus they are an extension of someone's will in a sense
 
Oi. If snail-Iihiko gets crushed by WR doesnt WR become Iihiko via that voodoo yada yada yada thing? Stomping on a snail is something anyone would do.

That's true but he'd die if he stomps him cus attack reflection and all.
 
So Iihiko losing actually means he wins.

Therefore all votes to WR are actually votes to Iihiko.
