Vs battles wiki pet peeves

I mentioned KE calcs are terrible justification for tiering a while back. Mainly due to the fact that one can easily justify “reasonable” timeframes and obtain desired speeds. I even brought up an example, Luffy’s Bajrang Gun calc. How easily the calc could reach Tier 5 results. Lo and behold…..

Kinetic energy itself is already downplay because the original formula is just W = F*d which can be simplified to W = m*v^2 without the half.
 
Personally I don't think "the results are too high for my liking" is a good reason to be against KE calcs but that's how it is for some I suppose

That isn’t my reason for finding KE calcs as terrible justification and I’m not completely against KE calcs. I just think KE calcs should be used as supporting justification for a tier and not the sole reason. It’s especially terrible when scaling chains are brought in. Everyone goes up several sub tiers because they scale to a single feat millions of times above anything they’ve shown or have been stated capable of. Just to be clear, I’m not referring to One Piece alone. It happens far too often int he wiki.

This is the only website where any problem in the world is somehow tied to One Piece
 
I haven't kept up with verses and I noticed Dante suddenly been downgraded to 2-C... and Kratos is Low 1-C what the ****

Well, I don't play the mobile game myself and the Chinese description doesn't seem to have been written by some foreigner powerscaler. I'd say they just poorly translated all that. It's a shame that no one called me up on that discussion.

Edit: On second thought, the certain part of the syntax sounds unorthodoxical and not something you'd see in formal language.

Don't get me wrong I get being salty or defensive about a verse that you're passionate about getting downgraded, mocked, criticized, etc while being made to feel "targeted" just for being a fan (I know the feeling all too well) while other verses seemly get more leeway due to bias.

That said it's still a hobby based on fiction, I'll never get people who get so mad about how a fictional character is rated here that they're willing to bully other users, resort to all manner of fallacies and even potentially commit a crime over it (E.g: Doxxing).

Nothing wrong with power scaling but I've noticed this pass year, it can bring out the worst traits in people.

I’ve seen enough to quit powerscaling. The most goddamn screwed up thing I’ve seen is so gruesome that I don’t think I can even share it here.

Nah, it's cool. A lot of this stuff has been resolved for years (3 and a half, which is kinda crazy now that I think about it) and now just exists as a bad memory. I'm at the point now where I can joke about it freely lol
