Yo I literally just finished the third mistborn book and I didn’t know we had profiles for them. This is awesome.

yeah, I finished the books a little bit ago but was randomly flipping through pages and thought this would be an interesting matchup

So looking through Vin’s profile there are like no calcs at all (and I feel like it’s missing some abilities) so do we just assume she’s baseline high 8-C?

may have to. I don't think there are many calcs as it's a book series so it can be hard to get concrete numbers. I think her highest feat while Drawing on the mists was flattening Kredik Shaw (and a bit of the surrounding city iirc) and while I can find a map of luthandel with that castle on it the map doesn't have a scale so it's hard to nail down any numbers without a lot of assumptions. don't think it's missing abilities but the profile isn't perfect

So baseline is 2 tons and from what I can tell it looks like Geralt scales to around 6.8 tons. So Geralt would have around a 3.5x advantage. Giving them knowledge and prep time makes this very interesting.

yeah, I think it's fair to say that if geralt lands a decent hit on vin he could one-shot. idk if his crossbow bolts scale up to that level, but I'm guessing his spells and swords would mess up vin.

I don't think vin has enough ap to one shot geralt though, she might have enough to damage him but I don't think she's got anything that can immediately take him out.

and yeah I thought prep time would be a good thing to add, as otherwise geralt might lose just because he's wearing metal armour. so I think it's fair to assume that as part of prep geralt would get rid of any unenchanted metal on him. anything else you think either would do for prep?
