Versus General Discussion Thread | New series by ONE

Anyway, I tweaked the profiles in the sandbox to look more presentable and while I was re-reading I noticed that Zaybi implied that there exists some kind of barrier magic so I added that to his profile as "possibly" until he actually uses it.

Also I'm pretty sure the Lightning is real since it disables machinery and seems to scorch/burn the robots

For now I left Zaybi at "8-C with Magic" since Lightning and his Earth Magic feat are coincidentally in the same tier but idk if he should have different tiers for each type of magic or something

Well yeah he can summon things from other universes but the world merging was a product of the effort of hundreds of mages going around the world to draw continental sized magic summoning circles.

It should be put as a note, something like this:
Zaybi itself cannot transport entire worlds, this is because magicians are needed to draw circles all over the world,he can only summon things from other universes.
 
Should be noted that the size of things that he can summon is limited to the size of his summoning circles (or at least that's what it's implied)
 
So Zaybi on his own can summon objects (possibly other living creatures?) from his own and other universes while several mages working together can summon entire worlds

For the Magic in the verse, it should be noted that almost all living beings in the Magic Forces World have magic. Magic can also be used to amplify objects considering that the Swords of Courage are supposed to be empowered by their respective Hero's willpower and magic
Therefore, Magic in the verse should have:
Holy Manipulation: Granted the Sword of Courage its holy anti-demon capabilities
Statistic Amplification: Can empower weapons, as seen with the Sword of Courage
Energy Manipulation: Called by the AI as an "unknown source of energy". At his peak, Hallow was able to create an energy blade for his broken sword with the help of his willpower and likely magic
Extrasensory Perception: Magic users can detect magic in living beings
Damage Boost (?): Magic Spells are stronger against those that don't have magic
Also idk why they have "Possibly Barrier Creation" if they blatantly stated that they can summon magical barriers. They also created an Anti-Demon Barrier
Smoke Manipulation: With Fog Magic Noisy Fog

Weaknesses: Certain spells need a certain amount of time to be cast, such as the Flying Magic which needs 5 minutes

High Tier Demons, like Demon Lords and Captains, are also shown using Magic in the story, for instance:
Death Manipulation via Magic Aura (Jachi has such a powerful magic aura that it can kill humans instantly)


Summoning magic should also have:
Weather Manipulation (?) (The worldwide summoning circle caused a thunderstorm)
Dimensional Travel (?) (Can teleport things from other space-times)

From the character sheets on Versus official twitter acount, those sheets revealed the age of the characters and that for example Kayla mecha-suit enhances her physical abilities (kinda like the suits from OPM)


I checked it with DeepL a few months ago but I have to get them translated by someone here to be completely sure and add it
