Useless Fish vs Useless Man, IS THE MEME TRUE!?!?!?

Durability Negation/Ignoring is not on Magikarp's profile; therefore it's not applicable here.

Besides the whole point of Yamcha having a decisive Skill advantage is that he dodges and fights like a Martial Artist. Even if Magikarp uses Dragon Rage, there's no guarantee it'd hit.

As for AP

Magikarp: 98,000 Joules (Cal said we should use the 1000m calc in the comments)

Yamcha: 2774884.39203 joules (Low-End)

Yamcha has a 28.3151468574x AP advantage.

Even taking Magikarp's absolute highest value would only equal a 1.33744966499x Advantage over Yamcha. Which takes a Mountain's height that isn't even on Earth.

So I'll be going for Yamcha with a near 30x AP Advantage and immense skill advantage.

This is probably an AP Stomp.

Yamcha would win. Don't know if this counts as a stomp (not too familiar with the rules) but Yamcha obviously has a massive advantage

Funnily enough, 9-B Yamcha has a sword he uses. Given the 28 times AP difference, I'd say Yamcha makes Magikarp into sushi, but it might be too lean for that.

Then again, contrary to what Team Rocket's Meowth attempts to eat Magikarp show, its Pokemon Moon Pokedex entry says: "Its reckless leaps make it easy pickings for predators. On the bright side, many Pokémon enjoy longer life spans, thanks to Magikarp."

And while Yamcha isn't a Pokemon, Magikarp IS a 10 kilogram fish. So maybe there IS enough meat on it for Yamcha to have some sushi after all!

Dragon Rage's durability negation probably should be applicable. Ignoring defense IS the whole point of the move after all, we should probably have a small revision for Magikarp to clear that up/look into it. Possibly for other pokemon/moves with unusual powers and effects too, if applicable.

However, doesn't matter. Even if you have durability negation, being that much weaker and animalistic in nature compared to an actual martial artist means you'd never be able to make good use of it. Giving Magikarp every benifit of the doubt, letting it have all abilities and moves, still doesn't change much. Dragon Rage ignores defenses, Bounce can cause paralysis, Rage and Swift Swim can stat manip, Gulp even gives it a small regen...But Yamcha painfully outskills and can fight on terms with even the strongest calcs for Magikarps.

For the 1000m calc, total stomp, but if we assume a best-case Magikarp from the Olympus Mons calc? Yamcha still easily takes it via skill and being smarter than a wild fish. Magikarp just isn't winning this, no matter how far we stretch it in its favor

So yeah. Stomp, then, since Magikarp almost certainly isn't winning, & its stats are way too low, right?

With how far things are weighted against Magikarp, I think so? It's only win condition might actually be Dragon Rage, but I'm not sure that's enough for this fight to be counted and keep this thread going.
