Thinking about it, if Meruem hits Kars with a Nen punch then that would open up Kars' aura nodes and he'd be able to use Nen instantly. The problem is, I doubt Kars' Nen will even be comparable to Meruem's Nen.

also that 400 IQ didn't help Kars dodge the rocket punch of the german cyborg

and Kars is incredibly overconfidend

another thing, Kars doesn't know that Maruem is dying, so he would try close the distance between him and not just stay 3 km away

@Schnee One sure kars can just poison meruem, but he has oncredible resistance to it, it's a question of whether meruem can kill him before he dies from it.
