Two On One Battles Being Added to Profiles.

As I mentioned previously, if we allow exceptions for teams of more than two, this could easily lead to messes in a more generalised context, so it is better to simply avoid matchups using these few characters. We are primarily a statistics indexing wiki, not a battleboard forum.

It is a misleading name, but I did not pick it, and now we are stuck with it in the public perception. Also, "The statistics indexing wiki" is not very catchy.

It is probably best if Reppuzan revises the regulation text before it is added though.

  • Versus Threads that involve more than two characters (i.e. a 2v1) will only be added to profiles under specific circumstances, which are:
    • If a character canonically needs another character to fight at their full potential (i.e. Naofumi Iwatani and Raphtalia)
    • If one character is useless on their own (i.e. Gentle Criminal and La Brava)
    • If two characters are canonically known for fighting alongside one another frequently and supplement each other's skills in combat (i.e. Twinrova, Ice Climbers, and Batma and Robi)
    • Or utilize summons, familiars, or partners as their primary combat method (i.e. Pokémo Trainers and Digimo Tamers).
    • In addition, matches added this way must be limited to two participants per "team" to keep debates orderly and organized, with the exception being characters who primarily battle with summons, familiars, or partners.

i don't think that Batman and Damian are correct exemples for rule 3, they don't fight fighting alongside one another frequently enought

I believe partners should be allowed when their presence affects the match on a more crucial level than just providing a numbers advantage to one side. For example when character X is partnered with character Y his notable weaknesses are different than when on his own, he also employs different tactics and his attacks follow a different pattern.

The cases dont need to be exactly like what I detailed but they should still be matches where battling against a character individually is fundamentally different from fighting them when they are with their partners.

@Andy

But how would you define that? That's entirely subjective most of the time unless the two characters have some kind of form shift or special technique when they're with another character.

I just want to wait to see if any of the other Staff Members would like to add anything else.

If not, then I'll add it.

Can be added, yes.

All I'd like to ask is what you mean by a "familiar". Basically a summon?

The name could be "Fighter Index Wiki"

Familiar: Also called familiar spirit. Witchcraft and Demonology. a supernatural spirit or demon, often in the form of an animal, supposed to serve and aid a witch or other individual.

Well Yeah, that's for the other meanings of the word

Also, I might be wrong about this, but when talking about familiars there's usually a deep bond between it and it's master due to either personality (think of Persona's personas) or descendnence or other reasons. As I said, I might be wrong.

Yeah, this can.

One last question (maybe the person to close this can answer it): can this have its results added once it ends? Izuku using Eri as a partner. She doesn't have a profile, but it falls under the first case (he needs her to use 100% Full Cowling. It also gives him some level of regen, I'd bet on High-Low, and that regen is really fast).

@Mand21

I guess it could be allowed under this ruling, but it's not really regen because Eri is rewinding his body's state rather than healing his injuries. Plus, it's not really his power.
