True Godly Regenerationn

While I was writing a story, I realize that there is potentially a type of Regenerationn above even high godly regen. I come to call this "true godly Regenerationn", for lack of a better name.

"True Godly Regen" would be defined as:

"The ability to regenerate even if the body was completely destroyed, and all dimensional structures have been destroyed, no matter how complex they may be. The body or form of such a character is similar to that of nonexistence, thus they can recover after destruction at this level.

What makes this different from high godly regen?

Well high godly is the ability to regenerate even if you were erased from existence and reality was destroyed. True godly would be were you basically cannot be destroyed whatsoever (except by the infinite God or a similar being (it could be a 1-A or High 1-A). The reason for this is because your essence is similar to the concept of nonexistence. Even if you were completely erased from existence and absolutely everything was destroyed, you's be able to regenerate and reside within nonexistence. High godly regen can be stopped by a higher dimensional being while true godly regen cannot.

Another note by Ven, is that a high godly regen character could be destroyed by being erased from duality, while a "true godly" regen character could not.

As always, I'd like to know your thoughts on this matter.

The differentiation comes from the fact that a true godly regen character would have something like a body of nothingness and even if everything including them was erased to absolute nothing, they'd still be able to regenerate. The question however, is could high godly regen do that? Ignoring what I told you earlier about duality (I say this because if that is the case then transduality + high godly regen = true godly regen).

The thing is, there's terms like "beyond reality" (which I see used in the Masadaverse) and "unreality" (which I've seen used in I/O) and these are nondual concepts.

High godly regen is surviving even if you and reality were erased. I believe this is the newest definition for high godly regen too.

Well, Hadou/Gudou Gods, Lambdadelta (and possibly Bern too) and some Demonbane characters have this. But I'm trying to think of lower tiers that do, as I do recall some.

if that's right, then 1-A beings with the "Type 9 Immortality" that you talked about in other thread would have True Godly regen right?

Not every 1-A is outside duality.

Type 9 is specifically for 1-As. True godly regen (as Sera calls it) can apply to hax beings, such as any Sea of Kakera being from Umineko or several Demonbane characters.

Type 9 could possibly also apply to ammortal beings. Because they are neither dead or alive in the conventional sense.

It's not NLF nor is it redundant.

High godly = regenerate even if reality is destroyed

True godly = regenerate if all realities are destroyed due to your nature being something like a transcendent nothingness.

There's quite the difference. High godly is too vague to say it is the same as true godly.

If true godly is NLF then how do Hadou Gods die? Beyond-reality is a transcendent term, but even if the Throne is destroyed, Mercury would still be there.

No, High-Godly Regen is the ability to regenerate if your entire setting is destroyed. This is why it's redundant.

So you're saying someone with high godly regen can regenerate from absolute nothing? If that's the case not all characters that have high godly regen actually do. They can be erased from existence even with no reality whatsoever (entirely, meaning beyond conventional existence/nonexistence). Someone with true godly regenwould not, it requires more to truly destroy them.

Mars Demonbane cannot regenerate from the entire setting being destroyed. It isn't even beyond-dimensional. Yet, it has high godly regen.

Wouldn't that simply be perfect immortality? Unless there's someway kill someone with that type of immortality that you described then there's no real difference

Type 9? You are saying immortality. Anyway, perfect immortality is the inability to die. Meta-immortality means you exist outside of conventional life and death and can only be destroyed by a similar or higher being. Type 5 > Type 9.

Well the kind of Regenerationn would imply another type of immortality, one that is less that type 5 but above the rest. Well what you are pushing for is something that is very specif. Eh just my input....I'll let you all resolve that

Actually the purposed kind of regen will be Type 3 Immorality, not Type 5, @Sera. While I do intend to leave VS Battle Wikia, I will be somewhat active for the next few days as I specifically stated in my farewell thread. Not so sure if it will involved other types of immorality other than that. Also on the page for Regenerationn, it specifically stated for High-Godly Regen:

Reality is a singular noun while realities are plural adjectives that can act as a noun. Reality is more like a concept in this sense while at same time it implies Reality Fiction Interactions which we do not ever use that term for that matter. I think we need to change the definition of highly god regen as this may have cause confusion to frequent users.

I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but I thought High-Godly Regenerationn was being able to come back from your existence and your timeline/plain of existence destroyed. For example Swamp Thing came back from the multiverse being destroyed but he didn't come back from like, The Endless and the Void getting destroyed.

Whereas what Sera is suggesting seems to be coming back from the totality of existence being destroyed. Or pretty much can regenerate from destruction on an Outerversal scale. These two things appear to be different from each other.

If most would rather not include a new term, or if what I'm saying about the logistics of High-Godly is inacurate, then I'm fine with this not being added.

I won't disagree or agree with the proposal so I agree with Ryu. We could also change the definition of high gody regen if needed as something is off with the way it define that level of regen if this doesn't get accepted.
