Anyways, Kingdom Hearts has to be mentioned further, the lore is explained somewhat poorly to the point you also have to read a ton of "Ultimanias" (Aka, WoG explanations) to see what is going on, and the biggest things (like the true and full nature of a "heart") are only told indirectly for the most part, let alone time travel since the start turning the timeline confusing.

However, it isn't complicated, so long you get the full picture, but it requires to keep in mind a surprisingly high amount of events, especially considering some games on the series overlap in the timeline, some not even in the same "era" thanks to time travel.

Doctor who is absurdly complex. It has histories across literally billions of years of time including in alternate timelines, countless civilizations and gods with unique backstories, and quite a lot of background material needed to understand it all. Not just the show, but also comics, novels, games, and even audio dramas, all explaining how everything works. And the stories almost always tie into each other.

Because likely most people are just enjoying how Agumon (Taichi Yagami) evolves into absurdity without thinking deep into the lore. Having absurd powers and abilities sometimes do not necessarily mean the lore is complicated.
