Hello, people. I am relatively newbie here (only like 1 month accessing this wiki), however, I think I could contribute with an... observation.
FTL speeds, you see.
>10 000x SoL is already MFTL+ here.
I noticed this leaves a HUGE gap between MFTL+ characters. For example, Kirby's Warping Star is MFTL+. Reaches distant stars in seconds, pretty d*mn fast.
But then, hey, there's Seiya, from Saint Seiya. That guy reacts to some stuff that travel at dozens of quadrillions of times the speed of light. He's on the same class, but he BRUTALLY BLITZES Kirby.
And HEY, then we have those guys from Futurama, who travel hubble lengths in a second, and those are the trash tier guys from Earth. They blitz and overkill Seiya while LOLing.
So... May I propose a change? You guys can make suggestions in this small chart, but for starters it would be like this.
FTL = 1~1000x SoL
FTL+ = 1000*c ~ 1 parsec/s
High FTL = 1 ps/s ~ 10 000 000 ps/s
High FTL+ = 10 000 000 ps/s ~ 1 000 hubble length per sec
Massively FTL = 1 000 hlps ~ 1 milimetre per planck time.
MFTL+ = >1mm/pt
And maybe even add some extra classification like "hyperluminal" just for the sake of more classes or a little shorter gaps but larger covering, or else we're gonna meet that kind of same class blitzing just too many times, too brutally.
For a small reference, some conversions I did:
1ps/s=103 million times speed of light
1hl/s=4.354973 quadrillion times the speed of light
1mm/pt=61 thousand septillion times SoL
(hl is abbreviation to hubble length, pt to planck time. Not necessarily official. This is mostly a draft.)
So... What do you people think? I think this can help us quite a lot. With this fix, Kirby would be like FTL+ or High FTL, Seiya would be High FTL+ and people from Futurama would have High FTL+ or low-end MFTL ships, making the speed classes more... Determining.
