I don't think we ever got down to exactly how her illusion/reality thing works.
Is it thought based?
Does she need to cast a spell?
Is it AOE?
Does she just create an area with her mist in which she can turn reality into illusions?

Offensively it's thought based. She doesn't need to cast anything. She can turn weapons, magic, and an opponent themselves into an illusion.
Defensively she spreads out an illusionary barrier which makes it impossible for anyone to die within it, as it turns their death into an illusion.

This is probably a stomp then. Tomoe thinks and Ichibe turns into an illusion and she calls it a day? I don't see how his name hax will help him here.
