Can you give a quick rundown on Daewi? Toji is pretty much the same as Maki but with more experience and better cursed tools..

I don't think Daewi has much chance of winning against Toji.

If it was Maki there'd be more of an argument but Toji is not only more experienced than Maki but has more variety of weapons at his disposal, so like, I don't think he's gonna be able to keep up with not only fighting Toji but also the morbillion kilometer long chain blade he's swinging around.

But what does Daewi do? Does he have win cons?

Daewi is a CQC fighter that utilizes shockwave AoE attacks to eclipse his enemy. He can utilize these shockwaves to set up later attacks (like storing power in the ground then releasing it from below the enemy at a later point in time).

He's as skilled as Mira or Mori (if not a bit less so) and his Martial Arts provides enough amps that he can blitz people that can blitz his base speed, which he spams regularly.

The scan doesn't show regen, just that Daewi got impaled, where is the scan for his regen?

Whats the ap looking like for Daewi? Given it's not cb+, Toji's got the ap advantage by likely several times, so Toji could just knock Daewi around till he dies and wouldn't even have to bring out his soul katana.

Toji's Soul Split Katana attacks the soul directly as a form of Durability Negation, a slash from that would devastate Dawei

From what it seems this is gonna go in Toji's favour. His experience, tactical fighting and arsenal of tools gives him the clear upper hand here that Maki didn't have in her fight. Dura neg, powernull and the ability to make his melee attacks into ranged ones with his chain seem to point to Toji taking the dub here.

So uhm, Toji has AP advantage, more experience, wider arsenal (?), and better range.

Daewi has eeeh speed amps with shockwaves and some healing. He also showed some level of accelerated development in the pre ragnarok arc (i forgot the name ) but idk how much that applies to this Daewi. This match up looks heavily in Tojis favor.

Daewi seems to have been given rudimentary knowledge of Toji's arsenal, so he has a much better chance now.

Daewi will probably just try to overwhelm with the Dance of the White Tiger at close range (FTE blitz amp + good afterimage creation), and since Daewi has much better stamina (than anyone in JJK really) and is generally a much better CQC fighter than Toji, he should be able to pull it off.

Soul Split Katana shouldn't be much of an issue with prior knowledge. Because unlike with Mira, Daewi will just grab him with his much higher LS and take the weapon away if he ever gets the chance, which at CQC range he'll have plenty of chances to just grab Toji by the wrist and just pry the Katana from his hands if he's unable to just one shot destroy the thing (assuming it has comparable durability to Toji).

Daewi also has Haetae water which he can spawn around Toji if he wants to either do remote damage or also to disarm him, if it comes to the point he can't get in proper melee range. So he doesn't necessarily need to grab Toji if he wants to disarm him. Haetae water also requires NPI to interact with which Toji lacks without Cursed Tools, so assuming he's disarmed he won't be able to effectively counter Haetae's water.

And once he loses his most useful Cursed Tools Daewi will just completely annihilate him in CQC until he just falls down lol.
