Tohru vs Percy Jackson

I don't recall it being hard to make a portal infront of you when an opponent charges you...
It's out of character for Torhu to do that dou.

^Thats pretty hard to say since she fought ones(on screen) against her father who can open the portal as well and come back.

She never really BFR'd them though, she just fought him head on. And, since she's never done it, it's unlikely she would do it now. Besides, even if she did BFR, Percy could probably call in a Hippo.... something... haven't read the books in awhile, to get him back there in less than a week's time.

Eh? Why would she BFR someone who can just come back? It has no logic whatsoever. The point is you can't say it's not in character for her when she essentially never fought someone agaisnt whom that abilty could of helped her.

Unless he has shown the abilty to come back from another universe that fast, it's not happening.

Two questions.

How fast are the hippocampi shown to be?

Does Tohru really make portals to other universes or just elsewhere in ours? (I don't remember)

@Jordan in order to travel from her universe to ours she needs to open the portal. The one time she opened the portal for a diffrent continent was because she wasn't in the mood to fight so she tricked Elma and made her go through the portal.

Alright. Do we think that Percy's reflexes and combat skill would allow him to avoid entering a portal? He seems maneuverable enough to do so, considering that he continually dodged and deflected attacks from literally thousands of opponents at once over a matter of minutes while hardly paying attention due to his emotional state.

I would say inconclusive. Tohru can pelt Percy from afar with Magicattacks, but as long as curse of Archilles is in the play, she cannot kill him. And I really doubt she could sneak up on Percy underwater to throw him into a portal to win via BFR.

On another note, does Tohru count as a monster? She's a dragon and weapons from celestial bronce are highly effective against monsters. It worked against Dracons.

For the most part. If it appeared point blank, then he wouldn't be able to, but he'd definetly stay on his toes.

In that case, I'll still keep my vote with Percy.

I would say that Tohru counts as a monster, yes. She's an ancient, draconic purveyor of chaos and destruction, which i think counts her among the ranks of similar beings in the Riordianverse

Percy.

She is a monster, wich makes Riptide her nightmare.

The Curse also nulls her chances to kill him.

Well the only way for Tohru to win is with BFR and to put it simply, it will be very hard to hit Percy with it considering in close combat, he is faster, stronger, maybe has better experience and riptide one shots.

Mind hax is probably the best path to victory and sad to say, he has no defense to this to my knowledge.

I think I will go inconclusive.I mean, Percy Oneshots with Riptide or AP, and Tohru one shots with mind hax.

Percy is quite a bit stronger, much more durable with the Curse of Achilles, and can induce a SE. A single hit of his can probably end this battle, while Tohru's mindhax is a 5/10.

Going with Seawood Brain here.

Clarifaction on how strong it is might change my vote.

How strong is her mind hax?

It is actually a memory manipulation, not a mind hax, that's why it's a 5/10 at most.

This seems a bit stompy, to be honest. A single hit of Percy can end the battle.

Torhu can also BFR him to another universe, so ya know.... Closer than I expected. The vote shall be counted, however.

Honestly, I only let mind hax slide for my inconclusive vote because it factors in his ap and his sword.

It is like

"You will kill yourself, Percy Jackson."

But bfr can be countered somewhat by his immensely higher ap.

Assuming her bfr has a start up time and she just doesn't 'poof him' elsewhere.

Still inconclusive, I guess freezing can help but ehh.

I honestly don't see how a huge AP gap can counter BFR.

It's true that she doesn't just bring him somewhere though (she has to open a portal)

I do not know if Tohru has a counter against "Hurricane" Percy, so to say. That Hurricane was strong enough to surpress Hyperion. Seeing him, never mind pushing him into a portal with a startup time will be quite hard.

You have to remember she has exactly one path to victory, and if a character has one ability that grants them a win, it can't really be a factor when it can be dodged.

If some of yall could change your votes over to Percy and send us to Grace, that'd be nice.

No Pressure.

No Pressure at all.

Percy for reasons above.

Specifically the higher AP, higher reflexes, water manip and invulnerability reasons

So...... This about to get added or were the hours miscounted?

Is that a aerokinesis pun?

I am the greatest accidental genius of this generation, I'll have you know.
