Since thicc Hamtaro lost to catgirl, it's time for another non-Ainz Overlord match. And yes, I made Cocytus' profile just to make this match, fite me.

Battle takes place in the lake outside of the Lizardmen village. Percy notices Cocytus slaughtering their warriors and jumps in to help. Cocytus warns him that travelling past his two ice pillars is certain death, to which Percy laughs and engages him. Percy doesn't have the Curse of Achilles, speed is equalized.

Cocytus >15 gT, Percy is 22 gT, the AP difference is 1.46x.

Percy is >>>22 Gigatons considering it was performed by Annabeth Chase

Also it's an outlier but that's for a later CRT to be made by Kep and irrelevant to this ordeal

Eh, it'll stick around for awhile and it's not like Percy oneshots

With Percy already having the AP advantage, it seems a little strange to make this battle take place at a large body of water. Sure, it helps Cocytus' ice manipulation, but that's not even close to his strong suit.

Its something Percy can do but no its not a vote.

Lets see ... Percy resists the heat and ice manip, he is far stronger than the 22 gigatons, has a bunch of skill feats, is used to fighting inhuman creatures and has water and ice manip.

Cocytus has more weapons, can use them like a pro and they even come with extra effects. No real skill feats aside from beating scrubs and being able to beat Albedo who we know nothing of skillwise and would lose to Sebas doesn't help with feats, he scales above Albedo's defense which is superior to Shalltear's which tanked Ainz's Fallen Down which is logically more powerful than the 15 gigaton Creation.

Cocytus looks at Percy, realises he needs to be taken seriously, and whips out a few more weapons. With more ways of attacking, I can see Cocytus having the advantage in cqc but that will just make Percy explode the lake and go for the water manip which is pretty much GG. So long as Percy is prevented from stabbing the lake, Cocytus has a decent enough chance to win but once it happens (mini hurricane will let it happen) Percy has it in the bag.

Voting Seaweed Brain.

You put his vote under the wrong label

Also Percy for reasons above

Lemme address a few things for Overlord for a bit! ;D

"No real skill feats aside from beating scrubs and being able to beat Albedo who we know nothing of skillwise and would lose to Sebas doesn't help with feats, he scales above Albedo's defense which is superior to Shalltear's which tanked Ainz's Fallen Down which is logically more powerful than the 15 gigaton Creation."

Albedo, Cocytus and Sebas each basically Rock-Paper-Scissors eachother. To quote the source, "Even among the Guardians of Nazarick, those three can be considered the top among the warrior classes. Cocytus has the advantage against Albedo, but not against Sebas. Sebas is strong against Cocytus, but not against Albedo. Albedo can probably win against Sebas, but not against Cocytus."

So saying Sebas beats Cocytus is an unfair example as Sebas is literally a Paper to Cocytus' Rock.

For skill, I don't think we need to actually look that far. As the characters has literally become reality, so too did their Job Classes. Cocytus, at minimum, includes "Sword Saint" and "Knight of Niflheim". He also clearly displays a knowledge of combat, just repeatedly schooling the Lizard Men on actual tactics (Telling that one guy to don't give away the element of surprise, immediately offing the majority of the Lizard Men as an opening move to curb number advantage) and discussing tactics of Shalltear when Ainz did his equipment swap scene (Accurately deducing Shalltear had no choice but to go on the offensive, which is what he would've done as it's the safest move to do at the time). While no tactical genius, he's not inept and will deduce tactics quickly.

"I can see Cocytus having the advantage in cqc but that will just make Percy explode the lake and go for the water manip which is pretty much GG. So long as Percy is prevented from stabbing the lake, Cocytus has a decent enough chance to win but once it happens (mini hurricane will let it happen) Percy has it in the bag."

A problem with this scenario is, even if Percy is allowed to heal his injuries and gain access to water, there's quite literally nothing stopping Cocytus from just refreezing it and cornering Percy out and away from the lake? His Frost Aura is omni-directional and even at low output is able to make people stick to the ground of which they walk. Seeing the person gain new powers after exposure to water seems like a pretty obvious reason to remove the advantage.

Not voting but yeah.

I'm not voting for now too, but Akreious seems to be making sense for now until someone does a counter argument.

Tbh Cirno is a better opponent if she didn't have that damn type 8 immortality.

@Akreious

I know its rock paper scissors, thats why we can't quantify any of it since its based on their builds countering each other. Being a Sword Saint and Knight of Niflheim sounds cool and all but we don't know what that entails besides "extra ice moves" and "better with weapons".

Cocytus only freezes the surface of the lake not its entirety unless we are saying his passive aura is the equivalent of a super tier spell, in which case, why even?. Percy has fought in below freezing temperatures before and still slaughtered an army of constantly regenerating demigod shades. He still didn't get tagged for minutes, pushed back most of the army with his personal hurricane and still collapsed the side of a glacier.

1. Dozens of blades at once > not even half a dozen blades at once

2. Pushing back 100+ guys > pushing back one slightly larger monster

3. Destroying the side of a glacier > destroying a foot of ice

Percy won't be moved from the lake unless he wants to be and even the one amp from the water that you mentioned would tip off Cocytus is plenty of an amp to win, seeing as bottled water (<<< freshwater <<< saltwater) made this happen

1. A 12 year old > 19 year old

2. Noob (held a sword in his hand maybe a dozen times in his life) > had 7 years of formal training (a bunch more beforehand where the sword didn't leave his hand for hours on end)

3. Army killer Percy above thinks his base = 19 year old.
