[Toaru] Additions surrounding Information Analysis and Resistance to it

Proposal: Fiamma should have the following in addition to his already existent instinctive reaction: Limited Information Analysis (Holy Right analyzes the obstacle in order to find its location and the most suitable output to defeat it). Or add it in parentheses next to his Instinctive Reaction.

Reasoning: Holy Right needs to know how strong the enemy is in order to know how much power it's required to output. Fiamma didn't know that an orbital strike was bombarding him or where exactly the satellite is located. When Fiamma swings his arm, the Holy Right analyzes the location of the target that Fiamma wants destroyed and uses a suitable output to do so.
No one there was able to predict the next attack that came.

Kamijou could not and Fiamma could not.

No one else would have been able to either.

Something twinkled in the heavens spread out above the broken ceiling.

It was a white light.

Immediately after Kamijou’s mind interpreted it that way, a giant pure-white pillar of
light poured down in a straight line and enveloped Fiamma.

A sound like oil poured on a hot wok reached Kamijou’s ears an instant later.

“Wha—!?”

There was an explosion.

A brilliant light as if from welding made Kamijou cover his eyes with his hands. It was so
bright he started to get a headache and then he felt his feet float up off the ground.
Immediately afterwards, he was knocked back a few meters.

That was nothing more than an aftereffect.

There was such heat that the air exploded and the shockwave that created was enough to
blow away a human body.

But...

“An Academy City optical weapon, hm?”

That refreshingly cool voice came from within the explosive beam of light.
Despite supposedly receiving that mysterious attack, Fiamma’s manner of speech did
not change in the slightest.

“If I remember correctly, their officially announced number of satellites is four, but from
this, it seems I was right in assuming there was something very off about the
distribution map of their space forces. Most likely, smaller satellites and space ships are
being deployed from a large central station.”

The pure-white light that had shot down from overhead had looked like it had come
straight down on Fiamma’s shoulder.

However, it had not.

In reality, the third arm growing from his shoulder was lifted straight up as if it were a
giant parasol. It did not allow the falling light to encroach on his position. Fiamma then
casually swung his right arm. That was all.

And yet the air shook greatly.

The white light was blown away by his third arm like eraser scraps being flicked away
with a finger. That was all. With that, that tremendous light that had been wielded with
such fury vanished. Kamijou’s vision was average, so he could not see what was
occurring outside the atmosphere, but he knew. Fiamma, the man who stood before his
eyes, had shot down the satellite with that simple motion.

“It’s nothing to be surprised about.” Fiamma of the Right swayed his third arm back and
forth. “In fact, I’m rather embarrassed that I had to show off my right arm in such an
incomplete state.”

“You...”

“Did you forget what I announced back in the Elizalina Alliance? My right arm responds
to the need, matches to the level of trials and tribulations, and uses the most suitable
output
. Whether it is an optical weapon or whatever else, nothing can stand up to me.”

It's stated that one of the aspects that Fiamma doesn't require is intelligence since Holy Right will analyze the obstacle. All Fiamma has to do is swing his arm.
That was why Fiamma did not need the things that were usually necessary.

Speed.

Toughness.

Intelligence.

Physical strength.

Space between him and his opponent.

Numbers.

A weapon.

Fiamma could bring an end to the fight by merely holding out his hand, so he did not
need any of the usual cards that would lead to a tiny victory when used together. He
needed to do only one thing to win. He would swing his right hand and it was all over.
That was all there was to it. It seemed he had been limited in the number of times he
could use it before, but he had overcome that by compensating with the knowledge he
received from Index. Now, Fiamma could win as many times as he wanted.

Holy Right attempts to analyze the output necessary to defeat Touma but fails(which is a feat for IB). The important point is that it attempts to analyze IB.
“But you should be proud,” said Fiamma cheerfully with his much too strange-looking
right arm.

“As expected of the right arm I had my eyes on. It seems my right arm cannot decide
what level of output to use against that fist.”
  • Toaru Majutsu no Index Volume 22 Chapter 9 Part 2
Aleister used Blasting Rod against Fiamma which outputs 10x the force of what the enemy expects. So if Holy Right expects a certain amount, Blasting Rod will amplify it by 10 times. So Blasting Rod defeats Fiamma by tricking the Holy Right's analysis.

Proposal: Touma should have Limited Resistance to Information Analysis (Imagine Breaker can't be analyzed by Fiamma's Holy Right and goes undetected to Academy City's System Scan)

Reasoning: Holy Right can't decide what output to use on Touma.
“But you should be proud,” said Fiamma cheerfully with his much too strange-looking
right arm.

what level of output to use against that fist.”

Academy City's System Scan is unable to detect Imagine Breaker.
Kamijou Touma’s power was Imagine Breaker.

According to the System Scan results recorded in the Bank, he was a true Level 0. But
unlike normal Level 0s, the precision equipment had truly not been able to detect
anything.

There might be other feats, but the ones above should be enough.

Proposal: Index in the John's Pen Mode key should have Information Analysis (Index analyzes her own physical injuries and the enemy's attacks to prepare a magic spell that best suits the situation)

Reasoning: She analyzes herself and the opponent's attacks to determine the most effective spell for the situation.

She analyzed the condition of her own body which had life-threatening wounds, the time it would take for her to die, and prepared a healing spell.
“Warning: Chapter 2, Verse 6. The loss of the life force known as magic power due to
blood loss has exceeded a certain amount, so John’s Pen is being forcibly awoken. ...If
the current situation persists, my body will lose the bare minimum of necessary life
force and expire in about fifteen minutes according to the international standard minute
defined by the clock tower in London. It would be best if you followed the instructions I
am about to give in order to perform the most efficient treatment.”
  • Toaru Majutsu no Index Volume 1 Chapter 2 Part 1
Analyzed Stiyl's Innocentius and prepared an anti-Christian spell.
“Warning: Chapter 22, Verse 1. Analysis of the flame magic spell has succeeded. It is
confirmed to be a distorted Christian motif described with runes. Adding in anti-
Christian spells...Spell 1, Spell 2, Spell 3. Twelve seconds until the complete activation of
the spell named Eli Eli Lema Sabachthani.”

The pillar of light’s color turned from pure white to crimson.

Innocentius’s regeneration speed visibly slowed and the pillar of light pushed forward.
  • Toaru Majutsu no Index Volume 1 Chapter 4
She was Index, the girl who held 103,000 grimoires memorized within her brain.

“...Enemy confirmed. Now analyzing...the enemy’s spells and...construction a
corresponding local weapon...”
  • Toaru Majutsu no Index Volume 21 War Report
A girl’s voice flowed smoothly within St. George’s Cathedral in London.

“Chapter 8, Verse 25. Beginning elimination of the person obstructing the remote
viewing. Analyzing the structure of the enemy’s spell.”
  • Toaru Majutsu no Index Volume 21 Chapter 5 Part 4
He pulled a rune card from his pocket and forced magic power through it.

A flame sword appeared.

As if drawn in by it, Index turned her gaze in his direction.

“Chapter 20, Verse 6. Top priority target reset. Reanalysis of the highly dangerous
element complete.”
  • Toaru Majutsu no Index Volume 21 Chapter 7 Part 8
“Chapter 17, Verse 33. Characteristics of Norse mythology detected in the enemy.

Reproducing and immediately activating the sword of the harvest god as a means of
opposition.”

[...]

Stiyl had been running around in order to find, gather, and use the materials he needed.

However, the grimoire library did not stop.

She continued her analysis completely mechanically.

“Chapter 23, Verse 11. Detected a Trinity construction. Confirmed that the target spell is
three but bears a single role so that the magic power expenditure is lower due to the
magic power circulating between the three bodies,” Index said as the three swords of the
harvest god floated around her, the red blood-like wings flew from her back, and the
magic circles within her eyes glowed eerily. “One countermeasure has been decided on.

A focused attack on one of the three will destroy the Trinity construction.”

The following is stated in Index's profile:
In this state Index talks with machine-like and toneless voice, and her speech becomes blunt as she calmly and methodically analyzes everything in front of her and searches for the most appropriate response to enemy attacks and spells.

Per request, here's another proposal: Ollerus should have Resistance to Information Analysis (Ollerus' attacks can't be explained, understood, or comprehended and consequently can't be analyzed)

Reasoning: Same reasoning as what I posted in parentheses.

Here's the description of Ollerus' ability in his profile.
  • Hliðskjálf (北欧王座 Hokuō Ōza (Furizusukyaruvu), lit. "Nordic Throne"): Named after Odin's throne, it is Ollerus' power to change his life energy and normal magical power into an unexplainable type of power. The power by its nature cannot be described, can't be explained, and can't be comprehended. The Hliðskjálf doesn't have any offensive function normally, but by forcefully using Hliðskjálf as an offensive power makes it even more unexplainable. He uses Hliðskjálf due to the fact that his own mana is too special and can't be used with normal magical powers, even if he applied knowledge of various grimoires. When used offensively, Hliðskjálf takes the form of an invisible spell that blows the enemy backward without Ollerus making any kind of movement or sign. It does equal damage to every part of the body including internal organs. It has no identifiable source. According to Ollerus, this attack cannot be defended against, as the enemy cannot even begin to mount a defense against an attack using an unexplainable power coming from an incomprehensible place while not leaving them a chance to form a countermeasure.
That was when Ollerus showed the true value of his own power.

Simply put, it was an unexplainable phenomenon.

Even Sogiita who received the attack could not even slightly understand what had
happened to him.

Before he realized it, he had been blown away a great distance.

Everything from the surface of his body to his very core received damage equally. He
was not hit in one spot and then the shock spread from there; it was more like an
unnatural damage had permeated his entire body like a cloth being dunked in water.

[...]

"The most fearsome attack in this world is an unexplainable power," spoke the man who
should have become a Magic God. "No matter what kind of mysterious power your
attack uses, if you swing it down the same as a sword, it can be stopped the same as a
sword. If you shoot it the same as a gun, it can be blocked the same as a gun. Any kind of
unknown attack that can be understood is pretty much the same."

[...]

Ollerus did not move.

He did not make a single action that was explainable or understandable.

He merely caused some phenomenon and Sogiita's body was blown back even further.

"But an unexplainable power cannot be dealt with the same way." Ollerus spoke slowly
and quietly. "The most fearsome thing in this world is to be defeated by an attack using
an unexplainable power coming from an incomprehensible place while you have no way
of thinking up a counter measure. The attack is vague and you cannot assign conditions
to it and you don't even know if there is a direction you can go to avoid it or if you could
even avoid it after getting tens of thousands of kilometers away. You now know how
horrible that is firsthand."

[...]

That legendary throne did not actually have any attack functionality, but that was the
very reason that Ollerus's spell had evolved to something unexplainable when he
forcibly used it as one. Hliðskjálf's attack was a vague thing that did not have a defined
range or force, so #7 had most likely already lost consciousness from being on the
receiving end of it.

"There is no major difference between us," muttered Ollerus as he relaxed. "One of us is
aware that we wield an unexplainable power and the other isn't.

[...]

As he smiled, he took no action that was explainable or understandable.
The third instance of Hliðskjálf and the seventh Level 5.
Those two inexpressible, inexplicable, and incomprehensible monsters clashed.

[...]

#7 hadn't been up to it this time. And most likely, that man who should have become a
Magic God had been holding back. It had felt like he was playing around. #7 had faced
him with all his might, but the man had easily dealt with it, and then spared his life to
boot.

Agree with everything minus Touma having resistance.

HR being unable to gather info from IB/Touma is just power null, IMO.

While technology being unable to analyse one of the most mysterious powers in the verse is just a limitation of said technology.

Also, could you add Ollerus having resistance to it in the OP? Pretty sure the description of his powers fit this perfectly.

The Hilðskjálf?

Off topic quick question, do you think Phases are fundamental aspect or a concept in Toaru?

Is there anything you want me to add as reasoning to the hash slinging slasher ability?
...

You mean Hildskjálf? This:

“The most fearsome attack in this world is an unexplainable power,” spoke the man who should have become a Magic God. “No matter what kind of mysterious power your attack uses, if you swing it down like a sword, it can be stopped as if it were a sword. If you shoot it like a gun, it can be blocked as if it were a gun. Any kind of unknown attack that can be understood is pretty much the same.”
“Ghhh.”
#7 attempted to stand up from his face-down position.
Ollerus didn't move.
He didn't make a single action that was explainable or understandable.
He merely caused some phenomenon, and Sogiita’s body was blown back even further.

You now know how horrible that is firsthand.”

No, they are places.
