Mettaton was emphaized as invincible by Chara/The Narrator. (Which is saying a lot.)

Even if you are Level 20 and have the Real Knife you still can't hurt Mettaton.

Level 20 Frisk/Chara/The Player destroyed the entire Undertale verse.

Neutral Frisk can win against Omega Flowey who is roughly 499.95x stronger then Post-Genocide Run Chara.

You can increase the Real Knife attack to even higher heights and it still wouldn't hurt Mettaton.

Frisk's Stick cannot even remotely harm Mettaton despite contending with the likes of Omega Flowey.

Frisk can't endure Mettaton's attacks but is able to survive Asriel's and keep on going.

Mettaton is vastly superior to Napstablook who can casually survive having his soul taken by Flowey and survive Second Form Asriel's strongest attacks with no effort who's attack range was far far more then a single area.

Asriel's full power attack can only decrease Frisk's HP to 0.0000001.

Mettaton's Lightning can render Frisk's HP to 0.1. No questions asked, That means Mettaton is 1,000,000x The God of Hyperdeath.

Mettaton is vastly superior to Sans who can hold his own against a Level 19 Player.
