Anybody remember the Dark Universe? That shit flopped faster than the DCEU (Which is still somehow hanging on for some reason)

I believe it was with The Mummy (2017). The Nun belongs to the Conjuring universe.

I love seeing Cinematic Universes crash and burn. They are artistically shallow attempts to make loads of money, and 9 times out of 10 then end up failing miserably.

I'm fine with a sequel every few years (As long as the sequel is made for a reason other than banking off the original), but cinematic universes are getting real tiresome and I hate them

Also, the only movies I'm looking forward this year is Star Wars 9 and IT Ch. 2. I still haven't seen Godzilla 2019.
