The Official Calculation Requests Thread II

In order to better maintain the Raimi Spider-Man page I'd appreciate help calculating Spider-Man's speed based on feats from the film.

Avoiding fire from a handgun/pistol:

Literally anything you can get from this fight with Doc Oc:

Anything here but especially the clocktower fight and reactions during train fight:

Spider sense making the world seem in slow motion:

I really appreciate any help from calc team I can get. Thank you.

So, can anyone help me find the destructive force behind This creature's explosive mold/slime. I already have an idea on what the number for the diameter of it's smaller mold blob is, but I don't know where to go from there in terms of finding the destructive output.

Size of hunter and blob

This is the only image I have so far, though. I can certainly get more if needed.

Hunter Height - 1.75 m

Explosion Diameter - 278 px

1.75/140 = 0.0125 meters per px

0.0125*278 = 3.475 meters

3.475/2 = 1.7375 meter radius

http://www.alternatewars.com/BBOW/ABC_Weapons/Nuke_Effects_Calculator.htm

It should take about 0.0017 kilotons to make an explosion of that size, give or take a few ten to hundred thousandths of a kiloton.

Final Tally

That Glob Thing Explosion - 1.7 Tons or Building level

Usually I don't ask for anything/trouble someone in a wiki but could anyone calculate this?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxCXHLyF0_E

Yeah, it's the Ultraman feat. It would be greatly appreciated if someone did. And with that said, I'm just gonna brace for maximum disappointment if the result is actually lower than what's stated or expected.

EDIT: Feat begins at 6:14

Some speed feats from The Adventures of Dr. McNinja.

  1. Doc jumps from Dracula's Moon Base to Earth. Starts here, ends here, 5 pages later. Given that Doc was pretty easily acting at whatever speeds this ends up being, it'd probably scale to reactions and such.
  2. The last NASAghast catches up with the Space Shuttle. Starts here, ends here, four pages later.
  3. The last NASAghast also travels from Doc's parents' house in Cumberland, Maryland, to the Dinosaur Fortress (which seems to be nearby Washington DC?) nearly instantly to save Chuck. Starts here, ends here, a page later.
  4. Dracula's Moon Laser travels from the Moon to Earth in about two seconds at most. Starts here, ends here. May or may not scale to reactions, seeing as Doc and Sean turn their backs in time to pose dramatically. (Judging by this, it also parted some clouds in the process, which may be a good AP feat that'd scale to only the Moon Laser).

@Promestein

The speed of a space shuttle is that of Orbital speed in low heights which is 7-7.8 km/s (mach 20.58-22.94) or Hypersonic+

Traveling the distance between the Moon and Earth in 2 sec is 60% of the speed of light (Relativistic+)

From what i see online the distance between Maryland and Washington DC is around 10 km so depending on how much it would take the dinosaur to reach that guy the NASAghast's speed should be around Hypersonic+ to High Hypersonic

May I ask anyone to calc this? It's a potential All Might (Boku no Hero Academia) upgrade, as well as a basis for stats once One for All's profile is to be made.
Speed feat for All Might.

AP feat for One for All.

One for All vs All for One (All Might).

http://2.p.mpcdn.net/28156/762573/1.jpg?1463502406

All Might cancelling out One for All's previous attack.

To add to this http://z.mfcdn.net/store/manga/14356/TBD-093.0/compressed/t016.jpg . This may be the best feat yet and its a clash between All Might putting all of his remaining power into a strike against All For One boosting his arm to the maximum with every strength enhancing quirk at his disposal.

Hop needs a speed calc for the Bigby Wolf profile.

This claim says: He was able to run from the left tip of Canada to New York in just one day

Okay, so Hop assumes it means from the Yukon border of Canada-Alaska, to New York, more specfically Manhattan, where the stories involving him take place. Hop tried to calc this on his own. Assuming the distance to be between 2,700-2,750 nautical miles, and then we assume it was a nonstop trip, Hop ends up with 57-59m/s. So its subsonic then. If he stopped, then he could be faster. But that's only assuming his stamina allows it, which seems right.

If it's not too much trouble, could someone possibly calc the energy required tilt the Earth so that the North and South Poles ended up on the equator?

There is, unfortunately, no exact timeframe, though it is supposed to have happened pretty much instantly as opposed to gradually.

I have a (part 1) Naruto feat that involves Temari being faster than sound evidenced by Tayuya's genjutsu traveling at the speed of sound.

GdFWqcY - Imgur

And that's not Tayuya casted her genjutsu before Temari casted her jutsu indicated by the black waves.

5jp6iyo - Imgur

The black waves (sound waves) were mere feet in front of Temari and in a split second (not sure of the time frame) she casted her jutsu and it reached Tayuya.

Not only is that fast but it can be faster when in this picture it shown that the distance Temari and Tayuya is small (in comparsion with the speed of sound).

@The great ZZ what you posted isn't a calc nor it's something note worthy or calc worthy ,please stop trying to bring it up.

I don't see where it cut metal ,and i'm not sure if it's legit to get someone's speed from something like that ,since it's similar to when one tries to find speed from Kinetic energy.

This one is a bit of a stretch, but I was wondering if this could somehow be calced.

In the video, Xenon outpaces a plasma beam to shield his friend from the blast. I don't know if there's any benchmark value for this (I somehow doubt it) but I'd appreciate it if someone could do this considering the fact that literally every MapleStory page lacks a speed value at the moment.

@Kkapoios

I say Mach 3 because this link here says that you to reach those speeds in order to cut metal which Tayuya's flute is made of, but what are your thoughts on this?

@Antoniofer
Without calcing it's hard to tell without a source, or any info on the planet or what kind of damage it did, because for all Hop can tell is that it's just the light.

Assuming it's a just an explosion, its probably Multi-Continent level+ at least, if it did about half the planet, also assuming the planet is Earth-sized.

@Hop, that is the Earth, and yep, that is a explosion, but don't known calculate explotion from space; last time that I tried, the explotion were Large Country, but I'm not sure...

Can a member calc the feat that occurs at 5:24? feat

AguilaR101 did a rough little calc in this thread but I would like a version that isn't as rough to help support the current speeds of the Puella Magi cast

Can a member calc this minigun dodging feat for Cole MacGrath? Like, how far away he is? I have some basic measurements regrading miniguns: Rate of fire: Variable, 2,000―6,000 rpm Muzzle velocity: 2,800 ft/s (853 m/s) Maximum firing range: 3,280 ft (1,000 m, 1,093 yd)

The feat I am asking to be calculated is below

Cole minigun feat
Sorry if I messed something up, pretty new here.

Hey there, back again with another calc request. Here, we have Cole MacGrath dodging anti-air bullets in the middle of a fight. Could you give it a look and tell me if you think it is legit? The first scan is to show where the turrets are located (in the last panel) and the second scan is to show the dodging feat. If you need more scans for help, I could give them or a link to the website where the comics are from. Thanks for the help.

Location of turrets
Anti-air dodging feat

^ That was already calculated in Naruto4rum, resulting in City-Mountain level IIRC. So the current rating for Mewtwo is because it is supposedly superior to the birds

Ok, so the person who calculated this on Naruto forums got Large Island+ but seemed very unsure about it and some possible mistakes were pointed out in the comments. So I'd like to request if anyone can calc it properly just to make sure. Thanks.

Todd punches two holes in the moon (our own moon) and I'd like to see them being calced.

First hole:

Moonhole1

Second hole shown later on (don't know which one's which but both being calced would be nice since the size might be different):

Moonhole2

And this is the first hole in the movie adaption (there isn't a second one) which I think should be calced just in case since the detail of the drawing is much better:

Moonhole3

I realise this might be a lot but thank you in advance. This series means a lot to me so seeing it being done justice would be great. Thank you!

This has been bothering me for quite a while but how much energy would it take to turn an entire planet (one that's at least the size of the earth) into a giant fireball? I really need this one done, as for the timeframe on how long it takes? I don't really remember, if memory serves me right it was about 7* seconds I guess? <(yeah its from, something) So, please? And, can anyone get to my previous request?
